Have used them more than once in a gift. They don't always fly upward, but always give a surprise. We have would them and played with them over an over, hiding them under pillows and books for children to find. The rubber band eventually will break, but easy to replace with a new one. Even after the wings get beaten and worn from daily use, they still are fun to play with. Only when the plastic hook breaks do you need to toss them out. Two months after using them in a gift, half of them are still being played with.

The media could not be loaded.  These were an awesome purchase. Very cool how it works. I bought it to put in a card to surprise someone when they opened it. Although my attempt to scare them failed it did pop out. His leg stopped it from going more, but I think it's really cool!

There are a few products like this that I tried. This is the only version that actually might perform as hoped after viewing the demo videos on it.

It would have worked better if they would have used tissue paper, not as durable but a lot better.This isn't something you spend all day with . It's a one time drama lets get it right.

they are fun! my recipients werent “wowed” by them but they scared the crap out of them which I thought it was funny (my friends did too, thought they were cool!) I had originally bought them to put them in a package with a bday gift for my mom but changed my mind after seeing my friends’ reactions 😑 only one has broken on me (the elastic) - all the others Ive kept, Ive been able to re-use them again. The trick to make them “fly” is to gently turn the elastic 30+ times...

Beautiful colors, great variety. Wonderful value. Have already recommended. Saw similar on social media, hoped to find for a better price, this is much better. Great way to send a hug and a smile. Seller was awesome too. Follow directions on the back. Wind up recommended times and they fly right out. I was excited and I knew it was in the card.

we have tried twisting it as many times as they say, less, more, we have tried placing it upside down, right side up, left to right, right to left, twisting the rubberband both directions and every single time as soon as you open whatever up (we've tried, cards, books laptops, etc) the thing shoots straight to the ground and flops around on the ground until the rubberband is completely straight again. We've tried more than one butterfly. I'd like to see how they really got this to fly like they show in the videos...it doesn't even come close.

These are great, such a fun surprise to stick into a present or card. And they’re reusable so the next person can put it into a gift of their own if they want
