The best icepacks
These icepacks are a necessity for helping me manage my chronic migraines. They mold to my head/face in various places easily. If the freezer is too cold they can get a little too firm, but they are easy to squish up and make malleable again. A wonderful product

Comfort when you are hurting!
I have used a larger size gel pac before. I ordered a smaller size but the larger size works better. Works well with medication or without for gentle comfort. I plan to order a larger size.

Long Lasting gel pack
Many years ago now, when I went to a chiropractor, he gave these exact gel packs away for free, with his business printed on them. I have squished them, had them in the car, sat on them and they held together. So after many years, it was time for new ones, the old ones still can be used but they are not as plump an more, these are 5 years old. The gel is no longer clear and over time some as seeped out. I have looked and looked for gel packs but never thought to look on Amazon for this brand until the other day when I was using the old one, the light bulb kicked on and I found this 5 pack for a very reasonable price compared to others out there. And they were the product I have been used to. I have Osteoarthritis an am in lots of pain so I have these all over the house, one at the computer, one at my favorite chair, one in my bedroom, one in the refrigerator for a bad pain day. Now, these are very cool just at room temperature, I might add and sometimes they make your lower back sweat. SO what I came up with is a cover for them. I bought 13x13 washcloths here on Amazon, it was a pack of 4. Now you could use 12x12 but the 13x13 is the color and thickness I wanted. SO how do you make the cover? open the washcloth now fold it in half, making sure the fancy edge is up at the top ( if you look at image you can see it) . Now using straight pins pin along the bottom and up the side making sure all is even. I do not have a sewing machine so I sewed these by hand and all on the outside not turning them inside right ,and with needle and thread. I plan to put a button on them with just a thread loop to hold it closed ( good thing I saved old buttons, now if you do this, make sure your button is flat or your back will feel it). When all is said and done, your gel pack will stay in place, and not be sweaty against your back and even if you freeze the pack, the little pouch will protect your skin from the frozen object. This is where you can pick out one or more of those fancy thick facecloths with your favorite theme or color on it. the 13x13 one, you could fit two packs in one if you wanted extra padding. Any way, I hope you have a pain free day and hope you can use my idea with your new gel packs.

Filled with air
My wife uses these on a normal basis for head pain. After a month or so they start to fill with air. No clue why.
