Callaway Golf 2022 Superfast Golf Balls

I got the Bold Red 15 balls for $27, so pretty good value. I’ve only been golfing for about a year, so take this advice for what it’s worth.I went to the driving range to hit the range balls with my irons to get a baseline of how far I was getting things out there. For my most consistent irons (SW thru 7), I recorded the averages for each. I then went and played 18 holes with the Superfast and used the SwingU app to track the distances. On average, I noticed [maybe] 5-15 extra yards compared to the range balls. However, there’s probably quite a bit of inaccuracy there because I couldn’t exactly measure the driving range ones—only observing from a distance where they carried. They do seem to fly a little straighter, even when I accidentally sliced, due to the low spin.But…the biggest difference is when I got within 100 yards and used my SW. I wouldn’t say this ball has zero spin, but it’s pretty close. Landing it on the green isn’t the end of it—it’ll keep rolling well beyond where it landed. I’m not very good yet at bump-n-run chipping, so I tend to lob everything at the hole with enough spin for it not to go too far past. This ball does not work well for that technique.A word on the BOLD RED—it’s ok when you’re on the fairway in direct sunlight, but once it gets under a shadow of a tree or just not very bright out, it’s arguably harder to find than a plain white ball.Final thoughts on this ball—I didn’t see any significant distance gains with these, but IMO, the best feature is that they will slice less, so if you’re prone to that, this might help (but maybe work on not doing that instead of compensating with the ball :-). If you’re good at bump-n-run, then you might not mind that these don’t spin very much.But don’t read an online review to tell you what to do. Try out different ones and decide for yourself. The affordability of these makes that easy.

The Superfast Callaway Golf Balls were all fine. However, it looks to me like the box was part of a return--inside, there were sleeves of balls that had definitely been opened by someone else--perhaps they returned them.. The golf balls are fine. I was a bit taken aback by the condition of the box and sleeves they came in. It's not worth returning them just for the packaging.

Be aware that the ball does not look like the ones shown at the top of the page. It is not shiny and bright, rather it has a matte finish, like shown further down the page. At first I wasn't a big fan but after using them I'm ok with it, although they are harder to keep clean. I think the ball performs very well or as well as it can given my skill level.I've been using the Callaway Supersoft, which I really liked. However the lastest ones I bought had a tacky surface. Didn't care for that and they would pick up alot of dead grass, which didn't easily wipe off.

Unless you are playing on a cow pasture full of dandelions you’ll love these

I was going to return these Callaway balls, but I decided to play them one more time. Only played them once before, and hated them, after just a few holes of no control, and losing one ball... That was a month ago.My game has improved and I thought I should be fair and play them one more time, after my harsh complaint. And I am glad I did!The ball performed wonderfully... easy to control, high launch, excellent around the greens... grabs well on the green... and rolls well, with control and feel, for putting.So, I am very happy with the balls and the purchase... It was a good buy!Note: It was my fast uncontrolled poor back swing that was at fault... Not the balls quality. ((I will keep them!)) Excellent balls!!
