This book is especially great if you use PDF patterns, or find the instructions and illustrations lacking. I used wide sticky tabs to label the project or technique. I plan to use this book rather than the instructions that come with my patterns.

As an advanced beginner sewer I am looking forward to exploring this beautifully designed book. Explanations are clear and the pants section is amazing. A great addition to my sewing library.

This is a really good guide for learning to see clothes. The author provides step by step illustrations with pictures to follow. My only complaint is the book arrived damaged. No fault of the author so I gave the guide 5 stars because it very well out together.

A beginner is baffled by things that a novice already knows. So this book did not make zippers or bias tape or reading patterns any easier to understand. I was disappointed.

Beautiful and thoughtful. Very detailed and a wonderful collection of lessons and teachings. Bright clear photographs show the author made sure to take time for a quality publication. Great book to add to your sewing reference collection.
