Sweet Lady Jane Chocolate Pecan Tart

I am a huge fan of the Sweet Lady Jane bakery in Los Angeles. Now that I live out of state, I ordered this as a gift and received one as a gift as well. Have no idea why someone thinks they can poach pears, freeze them, and have them thaw out in a pastry without oozing a lot of liquid and making a soggy mess out of the pears and pastry. Once thawed, it lasts less than 24 hours without turning to mush. If you don't want to consume it in its entirety the same day you thaw it out, you will end up tossing it. If you can consume it the same day, it's fine.

I have ordered this before but not from here. It was the favorite dessert at Thanksgiving !!! It was completely amazing !!! Do not hesitate to order this. I know it is pricey but so worth it !!!
