I honestly don't know how I survived without Bella Andre's beautiful romances. Hopefully I will never have to find out. I absolutely adore the Sullivan and refuse to pick a favorite. This devotion to the Sullivans had me leery of a spin-off of the New York Sullivans. I knew that Summer Lake was special to them, but was it special enough for its own series??? Yes, yes it is!!!!!!!!!Not only is Summer Lake special, but it has definitely earned a spin off series. If anyone deserves one of Bella Andre's "Happily Ever After" it is Christie Hayden. She arrived in Summer Lake to help her best friend, Wesley Kane, with the Inn. Everything was comfortable with Wesley and Christie. There were no sparks, but there was a lot of "I am marrying my best friend". There were no kisses but there were pecks on the cheeks. Not all besties make the best lovers. Darkness cover secrets, regrets, reality. In the light of day Christie is left in charge of the Inn and cleaning up Wesley's mess. Wesley is gone without a trace.Liam Kane arrives back in Summer Lake after 20 years to witness is brother marry Christie. What he witnesses is a chemistry he didn't know possible. What he felt were sparks that he always avoided. He will not love. He will not care. He will not feel. If only he were that strong. Now he has to find the strength to deal with the past, promises that should not have been asked, and accept not only his brother's disappearance but the reason for it.I have yet to figure out how Bella Andre always has me feeling so many things. I have never been know to be a touchy feely person. Bella Andre just brings everything to the surface for me. I want to be the protector. I want to be the strong shoulder. I want to reach within the pages and knock some sense into some people. I want to look a certain person in the eyes and tell her what I think of the psychological abuse she inflicted on her own child out because of her own selfishness. Burying your head in the sand doesn't not work. Sand blows away, revealing raw emotions that can destroy. The past cannot be denied.Lucky for me, after being emotional drained, I am rewarded with great endings and hope for a better tomorrow.

This journey take you through all the emotions, I laughed, cried and cheered for this amazing couple.Christie Hayden has such a huge heart, strength of will and lots of bad luck in finding prince charming department. Liam Kane is a alpha male in every sense of the phrase as well as disillusioned about true love being able to last. Liam arrives home to Summer Lake for a weekend wedding where he expects to see his little brother get married, but instead has to fight growing feelings for his brothers ex-fiance while trying to find his brother. Highly entertaining reading.

This book will grab you from the first page.When Christie moved to Summer Lake to start over, she makes lots of new friends and starts her new job as Innkeeper.Sarah and Calvin get married and you will love their sweet wedding vows.Christi and Wesley cancel their wedding plans and Liam, Wesleys' brother shows up and is shocked that they cancelled the wedding.There are so many twists and turns and secrets in this book that you will not be able to put it down.Christie will certainly grab your heart and I can't wait for Bella's next book.I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wesley's older brother Liam shows up for his brother's wedding having been traveling and didn't get the letter about the wedding being cancelled. Liam knows about secrets having kept one since he was 14. Secrets need to be told and the truth needs to come out so that lives can move forward. Liam sees Christie and the sparks fly. These two are so perfect for each other. I couldn't put this down! So ready for next book!!

Bella Andre did it again with the second book of the Summer Lake series. I absolutely loved how this story progressed throughout the book and the way the relationships developed between the characters. I have loved all of Bella's books but I think this series has become my favorite. Please keep the books coming!
