Quality product, but color is off.
I'm not new to Danish Oil. I've been using it mainly on knife scales in the past. This time, I decided to try the walnut on a workbench I had made. The color was definitely not a true walnut color so I ended up having to stain it first. Other than that it's great stuff.

" DIY " type people, its for you who wants their wood to have Matt finish and retain the texture of original wood touch.
I love this finish. I applied on teak wood which was been drying for over 2 years.1st sand the wood from 200 to 1000 sand paper. After attaining smooth finish, apply this oil using rag and let it soak and dry for 40 mins. Take another fresh rag and wipe out the excess oil properly and repeat the process for one more time.Let it soak fully for 5 days in well ventilated area.CAUTION- Do this project in well ventilated area under shade and dust free environment. Do not dispose the rag in dustbin directly or else it will catch fire on its own, so spread the drag properly and let it dry( in balcony under shade) for a day and dispose it.

Watco Oil has been oil of choice
I have been using Watco oil for many years. I use it to stain crosses I carve out of basswood. The colors are great and consistent. I use mostly the walnut finishes. I have tried other oils but they just don't do the job for me. I also use the light walnut to stain all of the Christmas ornaments I cut with my scroll saw.
