ElecGear Cooling Fan and USB Hub for PS4 Slim, Automatic Temperature Sensor Controlled Cooler and 4-Port USB 3.0 Adapter Splitter for Playstation 4 Slim CUH-2xxx

The media could not be loaded.  I think the use of the word turbo is used a tad loosely here. It's noisy as heck. To the point I'd almost rather not even have it.

Fans don’t fit and the hub doesn’t work- claims my external hard drive needs repair and can’t repair it so suggest I format it - that’s 3.0. On the 2.0 ports my ps4 isn’t even recognizing it. I unhooked my hub and connected my external drive to the PlayStation and it worked as it should. Clearly a defective item making for a crappy experience.

The playstation still gets hot but not as hot as it used too. The only thing I hate is the squeaking when it first starts and as it's cooling down. Once it gets going good then you can't even tell it's on. That's for the fan. The hub is completely useless. I t ied plugging my hard drive into the slots and if you put them in the no 3.0 ones it tells you it has to be in the 3.0 slot but if you put it in that slot it won't read it. It will still charge my controllers if I need it though. But I still don't use it cause then I can't use my hard drive. So in short if you have or plan on getting an external hard drive your better off trying to find a different hub or just getting a fan.

Have had this for almost a year (maybe more) and it’s still running strong. It’s very silent at first but after 7 or 8 months of use, one of the fans comes slightly loose once in a while and makes some noise but all it needs is a little push and it’s back to normal. i don’t even notice the fan come loose while i’m gaming with headphones on, only when i take them off i hear it, and it’s not even that loud, sounds like what a ps4 pro sounds like running 4k games. Other than an occasionally loose fan (after almost a year of silence) it’s a great product and has been reliable so far

I guess that the fan's work as specified but even on high I think that their is more exhaust flow without the fan's installed, they cover the original fan outlets and I think make it worse overall. Also because I have a external harddrive and wireless headset I needed more available usbs in the front and the adapter that you get does a horrible job at allowing enough power to utilize it at all. My headset only works when I use the single 3.0 usb and if I use the one to the left it's really crappy. The top 3 usbs are completely useless and I can't get enough power to even power the exhaust fan. I have to use the rear usb on the ps4 pro for the external harddrive and because there adapter is such crap I don't even use it because it only gives me 1 usb that will actually work adequately so save your money and buy neither in my opinion

Helped keep PlayStation Pro cooler. Which was my goal. Was a little loud when kept in the room i slept in and the fan would run for a little while after the Pro was put to sleep. I did find a cheaper one else where but for how well this works over all I would still but this item. For those who want to know how hard it was to install it was the easiest thing I have ever had to do.

The multi port is completely useless. Hooked it up and tried to plug my hard drive in and not one of the 4 ports will read my hard drive. Hook it in any of the 2.0 and it says it has to be in the 3.0 but the 3.0 slot won't read it. But it works just fine without the multi port. The fan squeeks bad when it first starts for 10 or so minutes and for like 10 to 15 minutes after you shut your system off and can be really annoying. It wouldn't even work at all at first untill I tapped kinda hard on it a few times.

Was able to install the fan unit on the backside of the PS4 Pro without any problem, did it without seeing from the front as I didn't want to remove the Playstation from it's location and it snapped into place and plugged into the USB port and all was good and it works and no noticeable fan noise. I guess it helps to keep the PS4 cooler, as the Playstation fans are not going into Hi-speed mode, which cuts down the loud fan noise, which reduces the heat buildup internally, providing a longer life for the PS4 Pro. Until PS5????? USB ports on the front snapped in and all ports work, except I don't have USB 3 device to check that port, plugged fan unit into that port.

Acquisto e spedizione nulla da dire addolutamente. Prodotto di buona fattura. Innesti semplici e precisi. Utilitá molto elevata. L'hub mi salva perché su 4 porte usb le uso tutte. 1 per doc station ricarica joypad. 1 per raffreddamento aggiuntivo (il prodotto sopra citato). 1 per collegamento cuffie wireless. 1 libera per eventual volante, cavetto usb, hdd esterno ecc ecc.Il raffreddamento devo dire che lo ritrovo più silenzioso della ventola normale della ps4. Si accendono al momento che le temperature della console raggiungono i gradi adatti. Evita di far accendere la ventola principale nonché mantiene un buon ricircolo d'aria e quindi temperatura interna costante. A saperlo avrei comprato questo kit molto tempo fa. Rispetto le play successive questo kit ha 5 ventole rispetto le 3 delle versioni slim e pro.Consigliato. Visto il prezzo poi.

The fans do work but make clicking sounds for a short while. They don't turn off automatically so you have to switch them off if connected to the console itself by powering off console then turning off at wall plug. I have mine plugged seperatly to my console via a USB power plug, so I power off console then I switch off fans whenever I feel appropriate. The console is still hot even with these fans probably because the PS4 is crammed with everything GPU cpu memory main board all attached and then fans for cooling. Alot like a computer these consoles now they sometimes require extra cooling. Would I recommend these fans, well if you want to remove them, say for upgrading the console. You would have to be careful not to break the plastic clips attaching the fans. I do and don't recommend these fans, I guess if you leave them on after turning off your console they may or may not Cool the console, I would give them 6 out of 10.

Also erst mal zum Design: Es passt perfekt zur PS4 der ersten Generation. Sieht wirklich ansprechend aus.Zur Funktionalität:Also der Lüfter funktioniert einwandfrei. Er hilft deutlich dabei, die heiße Luft besser zirkulieren zu lassen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.Der USB-Hub allerdings hat mich zur Verzweiflung gebracht. Als ich diesen wie vorgesehen in die zwei USB Anschlüsse eingesteckt hatte, konnte die Playstation keinen meiner drei Controller mehr erkennen. Weder über Bluetooth noch per USB. Trotz Reset am Controller und Neustart der Konsole keinen Erfolg gehabt.Ich hab aus Neugier dann den USB-Hub aufgeschraubt und festgestellt, dass die Lötstellen des Übertragungsbands sehr mangelhaft waren. Selbst die Platine hatte kratzer und zwei Tellen waren deutlich verbrannt vom Löten. Wer auch immer dort dran gearbeitet hatte, war dort entweder im Stress oder nicht bei der Sache.Zudem hat sich herausgestellt, dass mehrere Lötstellen miteinander verbunden waren, was letztendlich die Störung verursacht hatte. Als ich die Lötstellen voneinander getrennt hatte, hat der USB-Hub problemlos funktioniert.Somit nur drei Sterne.Verarbeitung von Aussen war soweit in Ordnung.

Didn’t find this of any real use. It covers over both the front USB ports on the PlayStation but it’s usb connections didn’t work with the peripherals , headphones, hard drive I wanted to use.

It works best if the PS4 Pro has been cleared from dust thoroughly. If your PS4 Pro is a jet engine this fan will most likely not cool it down.
