Koa Wood Abalone Tungsten Two Tone Wedding Ring Half Wood/shell 6mm

I bought this ring because I was looking for something different and unique, but also because I wanted to be reminded of my heritage. This ring was absolutely perfect. The sizing was spot on, as it matched up perfectly with my other rings. It's coated in resin so you don't have to worry about the wood not being waterproof. I have had it for a couple months now and I like to tap my fingers and such, but still it shows no wear. What I also like about this ring, is the fact that it is hypoallergenic - to me at least. It doesn't leave that weird green residue on your finger or cause a rash or anything. It stays on my finger and is quite attractive - I have gotten several comments on it and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I love the look and feel of this ring but a big chunk of shell has fallen out and now I am looking for an all koa one because that seems to be more sturdy. I wish I felt safe ordering another one of the same but I feel like it might happen again.

My hubby bought me an abalone and koa wood necklace in Hawaii for our anniversary and I wanted something to match. The 30th anniversary is traditionally pearl so I thought the mother of pearl would be perfect. He absolutely loved it and it was beautiful.

I like this ring - it fits to size, does not rub, and look so interesting. I am not a ring person but getting married and this makes me happy!

Less than one year of daily wear has left my ring looking absolutely terrible. The abalone has shrunken leaving a sharp edge around the circumference of the ring. The wood has dulled and has began to crack. Even new, there was a noticeable difference in thickness of the wood and abalone - leaving sharp edges. It's only $69, but I'd hope for better quality.
