The designer of this Ynique purse read my mind. My handbag needs evolved a lot over the years after retiring, but it wasn't until yesterday that I figured out what I really needed, and today it was in my hands! (Very impressed with Amazon's one-day Prime shipping.) The purse is real leather that stands up by itself but is not too heavy or bulky. Many designers think more pockets are better, but for me they are more confusing. The Ynique tote model has two zippered pockets outside, one zippered pocket and two small open pockets inside. Instead of many dividers or pockets cluttering up the interior, plenty of room is available for random items. One of the best features is the top zipper that closes the entire bag when you want the contents to be secure. Since the attached handles are large enough to put over my shoulder, I don't expect to use the longer optional shoulder strap. The color and shine of the polished leather, the simple styling, and the brass accents are elegant. The affordable price and great quality make it an excellent bargain, so I don't feel guilty for retiring a plethora of old purses for one that really suits my needs. Kudos to the Ynique designer.

I got this bag to use for work, and I absolutely love it! It is very professional and has enough space for folders or other paperwork.Update: It has now been about 8 months since I started using this bag. I use it almost every day for work and other times for traveling or days out. It shows some wear and tear at this point. The edge of the straps (the black parts) are ripping off and the bag doesn't keep its shape anymore. However, it is still working fine and is cute, but it's almost time to move on. This bag last about 8-9 months with daily use.

Got this, yesterday. Shipped quickly...nice packaging. Looks exactly like the photo, the color is right on. Workmanship looks great. Zippers work nicely (very smooth) and the stitching looks strong and even. Fits my 10" Kindle perfectly. It's bigger than I'm used to, but I needed something a little larger for work everyday, so it's perfect. It looks great.I'm no expert...but I suspect this is not real leather as is mentioned in the ad. I'm 99.9% sure it isn't. But it looks like it...so not a big deal to me. But, this brings me to the "smell" issues from other reviewers. Yes. There is a slight oily smell to it if you hold it up to your nose and sniff. I suspect it is the oils rubbed on it to keep the vinyl supple for manufacturing and storage reasons...and I'm sure it will dissipate. If it doesn't, I'll let you know.I live with a husband, two boys and a dog. The smell of my purse is not traumatizing enough to send it back. In fact, there are days where it might be preferable :). I'll just wait for one of the kids to put a half-eaten sandwich in there and not tell me about it for 3 days. I'll yearn for the oily smell to return.

I read the reviews and was worried, but this purse has gotten compliment after compliment. It holds a tremendous amount of stuff, no flaws, no smells just comfort and style! I love it and am so glad I tried it. I know everyone can get a bad product every once in a while, but there is such ease in returning items and getting your money back, that even when we do happen to get something we send back...it's never an issue! KEEP IT UP AMAZON! You are amazing!

I wanted to love this bag so much. However, the smell is something so overwhelming you can't even wear it.I tried wearing it one time but around my family (who will give their honest opinion) I didn't say anything but just had my bag near my sister and she asked, 'What is that smell?' I told her it was the purse and she smelled it and said It stunk. Then my mum smelled it and she said it smelled very bad and to let it stay out in the sun for a couple of days. I did. However, the smell is still there and didn't die down not even a little. I love that "new smell" items give but this is a bad smell like a toxic chemical of some sort type of smell. I hate it was a waste of money for me and unless they change the smell of these bags, I do not recommend them to anyone.

Not what you could call "sturdy". It arrived rather rolled up and is basically too limp to stand up even when full.On the plus side, it does hold a lot of stuff, and the inside is very well crafted.It was a fair price, but woukd not buy again.

It is now April 2023 and I ordered this purse in November 2017. As you can see, I fill it to the brim and weigh it down, and I have had no issues. I can’t speak enough good words about this purse. The material has held up and it has kept it’s shape pretty well for all of the stuff I pack into it. About a year ago the black lining that is on the edge of the top of the purse started to come off the straps. You can see that the black lining is still bordering the top of the purse, but I peeled it off the straps and it has been just fine. No fraying whatsoever. I like that it has metal feet on the bottom so your purse isn’t sitting on the ground. I would 10 out of 10 recommend and buy again!

After lugging around a super heavy purse I was looking for something light. This bag is about the same size. Open with no middle divider the way I prefer and a few side pockets.. Its so light I often feel like things are missing in it. The quality and color are nice as well.. Very nice bag for the price.
