Second time my washer door latch broke. Who would have thought a $10 part would save so much money and aggravation?!Thank you!!

Repair man wanted $150 to repair this part that is on the washer door and the part that this latch goes into on the washer itself. I watched the instruction video a few times and then did this my self within 10 minutes.

This took about 2 minutes to replace on my Electrolux washing machine door. Perfect replacement.

But be aware, you still must extricate the broken fragment of the old one that is still stuck in the lock mechanism, or the new one won't fit in.

OK so let’s think about this. Two day, Amazon, shipping, two minutes to install the part. Hours of being able to happily do my laundry. Compared to: waiting 5 days, having a technician come to tell me what’s wrong and then order the part and then five days of waiting for them to get the part in and then another five to be scheduled to have the part installed.. Hummmmmm. Seems like a no-brainer. This worked GREAT.
