RadioMaster TX16S Mark II (Carbon Fiber Edition) 2.4GHz 16 Channel EdgeTX OpenTX Hall Gimbal Radio Transmitter Mode 2 (ELRS)

Great Radio for the price. I own the original TX16s as well. Fit and finish much better on MKII. Sliders and Pots have much better center detent and are solid. Mine came with 2 screen protectors, optional plastic folding handle if you would like to change the normal stationary one pictured on the radio, extra springs, key chain, stickers, and neck strap. Package completely sealed in original Radiomaster Box and plastic wrap.I've owned many of the name brand radios over the last 20 years and I can say that this radio will surprise you if your a brand only pilot. Only negative I can say is wav file volumes are lower on edge tx than on Open tx, but I'm sure a software fix will be in the works. All normal beeps and warnings loud enough if you don't care about your radio talking back to you.You could buy 3 of these Radios and still pay less than a brand name radio with same features. It may be harder to learn the setup part at first, but the ability to change everything to your taste is the best part of open-source software.

It's big and very customizable. I put my name on the intro splash screen and made some other changes like the LED gimble lights (made by radio master) and joysticks. I'm new to drones so I use it also with the drone simulator LiftOff on PC/Steam and It also plugs in via USB-c to use on the simulator too but I use a dongle I got from Horizon Hobby which let's me not have to use a cable(and also the TX16s works with the RC plane simulator from HorizonHobby/Steam too to practice flying RC planes). You can also use the USB cord to plug into your PC to change sounds and images. It came with a cool lil key chain, screen protector and some stickers too. Highly recommend.

This will do everything the high priced TXs will do plus alot more. Though there is more of a learning curve. Its not that hard to figure it all out and there are plenty videos on YouTube to help if needed.

I upgraded my taranis qx7 to this and have loved it. It gives me the capability to run ELRS without having to open up the tx and having to solder anything. A little big for my hands but still very good transmitter. Highly recommend.

It's a great radio, a lot of cool features. I only gave it 4 stars cause the instructions are not the best and there isn't a lot of videos online on how to do mix it.

Radiomaster tx won't even bind with radiomaster Rx. What a load of crap. Very disappointed
