Nice fan. Impressive Statement for Master Bedroom
Bought this fan as a warehouse deal to save a few bucks - i can't resist. It was missing the mounting bracket, however after starting the return process the seller reached out and asked which part was missing. They quickly sent the missing part which allowed me to install. Relatively easy install, especially if you have installed one before. They are all pretty similar. This fan is nice and quiet. Looks good and the size is impressive. Installed in a fairly large master and it really makes a bold statement. The remote is fine. Takes a second or two to register but all functions work. The blades are plastic, not sure it matters though as it has a faux wood pattern. You cant tell its plastic by looking at it once installed. Doubt anyone would notice. At least i could not.Instructions are detailed and well written. Options for close mount and downrod mount. If your ceiling already has a sturdy box in it this mounting bracket should screw right in. I had to improvise with mounting the mounting bracket as my pre exisiting box was a little different than a typical box. I set two screws through the mounting bracket into my existing box and "hung" on it with my body weight to test the hold. Plenty. Fan is not that heavy. Make sure its properly anchored to a box which is set to a ceiling joist though. The fan comes with a nice bezel system to cover the mounting bracket which when installed is flush with the ceiling - meaning it hangs down below the ceiling. This is covered by the bezel.Cut the power at the breaker. White to white. Black to black. Ground/green to ground/green.Light is warm. Maybe a bit whiter than a traditional bulb but barely. I have the light on its lowest setting because it is quite bright on its highest setting. All controllable from the remote.Nice fan for the price and size. Color is true to pictures. Fan is very quiet with no chatter on lower speeds and typical noise on highest.

Best fan around
This is the third identical model that I purchased and installed. But this time, the fan manufacturer did not install the cotter pin for the motor slotted bolt. The instructions said to remove the attached cotter pin, but there was none. So, I had to go out to a hardware store to purchase one. The cotter pin was included during the two previous purchases of this fan. Also, the rod had two screwed holes, one for the ground wire and one to connect the ball to the rod. But, the hole in the rod, used to secure the ball to the rod was not in the correct position. I had to screw the ball into the rod itself to tighten them together. The ball won't accidently drop since the there is a rod in the middle that prevents this, but hopefully the ball is firmly attached to the rod and won't move since I screwed it in tightly to the rod. In addition, the manufacturer included an extra fan blade, so there were 9 blades instead of the typical 8 blades. I never had an extra blade with the other purchases of this fan. The assembly of the rod and ball is a little tricky. Make sure that you install all the various pieces in the right order and right side before you hang the fan. Otherwise, it's a great operating fan with a dozen fan speeds and the light is dimmable with many light settings.

Best bang for your buck in this size range, second purchase.
I have had one of these in my great room for over four years now. Not only does it move some serious air, it is whisper quite. Finally decided to upgrade the fan on my porch, and knew I would come back to this style. The only real difference is the updated remote, and it is ‘fan’tastic. Simple instructions, so you do not need to be a handy person to install. Rarely do we need to turn it up to 9, and we live in the hot/humid South. The difference between a 54” fan and a 72” fan is substantial. Not only is this one moving much more volume of air, more importantly it is spread out over a greater area. Specifically, the smaller fan provided comfort to one, maybe two chairs at the table, this in covers all six. Great value, great fan.

Great, high-tech fans.
I bought two of these fans. The first one took me between 2 and 3 hours to install (not counting my breaks.. ). The second, after the learning curve kicked in, took me about an hour I think. These are VERY nice. Technology has come a long way since I installed my old fans nine years ago. The remote is awesome. I was hoping to control each fan separately, but since both of my fans are on the same electrical circuit I couldn't figure out how to do separate programming. But now, the fact that they both work off of one remote, and are basically twins doing exactly the same thing in unison, is probably even cooler. The lights are in sync, dimming together, and the fan speeds are identical on both fans at the same time. I've only had them two days, and will update my review if anything changes, but so far I love them. One thing I would recommend, and that I did on these and any fan I install in the future, is to use Loctite on the screws that attach the fan blades to the motor. On the old fans I replaced with these, the screws kept loosening, causing the fans to wobble and shake. With a light kit on the fan it is really tough to retighten screws, and then they loosen up again anyway. So, Loctite is cheap insurance...
