My son suffered a catastrophic brain injury too. Doctors gave him a 0% chance to live. They said there was nothing they else they could do for him and I needed to make a decision to take him off life support and he will “pass away”, but I knew God had a plan for my son’s life and I didn’t lose FAITH in what God can do! 2 and a half years ago, I witnessed a true miracle in the OU Trauma center….. I witnessed the power of God! Today, my son is still here and God is still healing. I read this book #butGod to my son and it touched me to the core of my heart, and has given me and my son great HOPE! I’ve seen what God can do! “God is not done with my son!” That is going to be the name of MY book when we get to that point. I was hesitant about writing a book but after reading #butGod, well…Caleb and this book has inspired me more than ever to move forward with God’s plan in touching and changing lives. I have followed Caleb’s story since it was first reported on the news. Him and his family living in the same town as mine made it feel way too close to home. I saw every post on their Facebook page. I saw a community come together for someone they didn’t really know. I prayed. A lot. And yet reading this book was like hearing it all again for the first time. I SOBBED. I smiled. And I prayed some more. Caleb has such a great soul, it was hard not to love his story, so this book was a must have. And I am so glad I bought it!

I too like many others followed Caleb's story through their Facebook Page.. I was so glad they put their story in book form. One part of the book, that spoke to me was the definition of #ButGod. I typed it up and framed it to keep on my living room shelf as a daily visual reminder. Their story is a very special one and one everyone should read.

God used what man would call a horrible tragedy and turned it for good... not just for Caleb and his family... but for all who have been touched with how God is healing Caleb and using him and his family to shine the light of Jesus so that many can come to know the same saving, healing grace that He has bestowed on them.
