They work great! My cats keep managing to take them out of their bowls but for the most part they work well.

Helps a lot! We use it for a small bowl. After trimming it down, it works prefect. It doesn’t lay flat so food gets stuck underneath. We do wash it at least once or twice a week to keep anything from getting too nasty.

It’s great for my puppy to slow down his eating for his meals that don’t have any extras, but once he’s done he takes it out and tries to lick any extra crumbs off. And then he chews on it. Usually I take the slow feeder out once he’s done but when I forget he steals it lol. And then his other doggie friend came over and almost chewed one of the little (legs?) off but it’s still hanging in there! Overall it’s very good and I like having the option to take it out if I want him to have some type of wet food/add-on.
