Speedplay Zero/Light Action Cleats, Black

You have to keep your Speedplays clean and the easiest way to do that is to snap these on as soon as you step off the bike. I keep mine in a jersey pocket for easy access. You can get away with walking short distances on clean pavement but you should be especially diligent about putting on covers if walking in dirt or grass. Kool Kovers are durable and they go on easily but they do not fall off. I previously used SPD-L Kool Kovers and they worked fantastic too so I know the Kool Kover brand is really good. For less than $15 these things can't be beat.

I have used covers on my Look Keo cleats, so the notion of a cleat cover on the Speedplay was nothing out of the ordinary. These covers go on and come off with ease (easier, in fact, than with the Keos), but stay on as you walk - never had an issue with them coming off by themselves, whether walking on pavement, gravel, grass, up and down stairs, whatever.With the Speedplay, it is almost a requirement to have something on your shoe to help when you walk. And these are perfect, protecting the "cleat" as well.There is also a version (different manufacturer?) that stays on the shoe, even when you are riding. This wold not protect the cleat to the same extent, I would guess, but could be a simpler solution to prevent cleat skating, which is always a fun adventure.

I am only giving 4 stars because I haven't really tested their endurance. I have only used them a few time but they worked great. I tucked them in my jersey pocket and pulled them out at my destinations. So much better then walking on the cleats themselves. They are designed to have a little "tread" and that is nice feature. They are marked on the inside so you know which way is toward the toe which is also helpful. Obviously, I do recommend these. They are a good value.

Lightweight and easy to use, these cleat covers worked very well with my Speedplay cleats. They would have been very helpful this summer when several organized rides insisted on having water stops in sandy parking lots, or made me park my bike in a mulch bed. Because I didn't have these covers, my cleats became jammed and it took miles to clear the springs so I could reliably clip in

these are a must if you have speedplay pedals/cleats. thanks to these guys i can walk through the lobby of my office building without skating. eliminates the need to pack a pair of flip flops or slippers for hopping off the bike and trudging up to the office, i use them whenever i hit the breweries on the trail, as well, because they easily and comfortably fit into your jersey or jacket's pocket

They do the job. Fairly easy to use, protects my cleats, and they easily fit into my jersey pocket. A cheap investment for making my pedals and cleats last longer.

Fits but not well enough to stay on over even a short walk

I was concerned about these being big and bulky and taking up too much space in a precious jersey pocket. Turns out they are thin and not bulky at all. They really don't take up much room at all. They do eliminate the cleat skate and keep those Speedplays clean.

I love the Speedplay Zeros, but I have yet to find a cover, that not only fits, but stays in place whilst walking. This product does fit, and does cover the cleats, but beware, in that after a few yards walking, it is highly likely that there will only be one left on your cleat, as the other has probably fallen off.

スピードプレイ純正のコーヒーショップカバーは着脱が固いとのレビューを何件か見かけたので、こちらを購入。ひと月使用しての感想ですが、頻繁に着脱をしてますけど緩々にもならないで適度な装着力を維持してますから使い勝手は良いです。耐久性に関しては、グリップが意外に良い代わりに、やはり爪先側の摩耗が早いので三カ月位と踏んでます（私はポタリングで結構歩きますので）。クリート設置面が金属なのでカバーが無いと滑る事が多い私には必需品です。ただ、値段が安くはないので☆四つにしました。
