My family switched from Yeti to Hydroflask only because the coffee lid kept our coffee temp higher for longer times. However, the lid started leaking a small amount and became messy and frustrating. This new lid has solved that problem and made me love the Hydroflask again! Will buy again.

The media could not be loaded. This replacement cap works great for my simple modern 22oz summit bottle. I own the bottle for many years and the cap doesn't survive dropping. This is a slimmer style than what SM offers, and with a handle. Although time will tell how long the handles lasts but I'm happy with this replacement.The flip cap is very secure. There's 2 clicks to ensure it's fully closed. The other review about leaking properly did not press the cap all the way (see video). It does take a bit more force than expected to open but once you get used to it, it's not too difficult. Although for young kids, it may be more difficult but not impossible.I like the handle since I may only have a finger or two to hold the bottle at times.

Perfect fit for my Hydroflask 32oz. the handle is soft and easy to move out of the way while drinking. However the latch is not completely water tight like the screw tops, though this is much easier to open.

Leaks like crazy. Doesn’t matter if it’s opened or closed. The seal isn’t tight and the threading is screwed up so the lid is never on snuggly. Even if the lid did securely close, it would still leak because the flip top leaks whether it’s open or closed. Absolute garbage. If you must order it, save yourself the time of unpacking and and just toss it in the trash and dump your coffee down your shirt to get the same effect.

My wife has a 32oz Iron flask that she takes with her every time she leaves the house. It came with a straw type lid. She loved it but it was annoying to carry since it didn't have a handle so you just have to grip the 32oz jug. Cleaning the straw was a bit of a pain too.So, I got her this cap. I figured it would be easier to carry around with the handle and not have to deal with a straw anymore. I was right. She loves it! It's more convenient to carry. She hangs it off a hook in her car. Drinking from it I much easier than sucking from a straw. The lid cover seals tight and doesn't pop off. So you don't have to worry about it leaking if it falls or if you throw it in a bag and it gets tossed around. When you pull back the lid to the mouth piece it stays in place and it doesn't flip down in your face when you're drinking out of it. I have a the same type ony Rtic jug and I think it's the best type of life for these types of jugs.

I wish I'd gotten this sooner. My (hand-me-down) Hydroflask did not have a handle and it wasn't that big, so for a long while I carried it around and found I loved it more and more. It's not a big one (12 oz?) and it's just the right size for everyday use on the go. The handle on this thing makes it SO much easier to carry! When you're carrying a lunch box or other things, you'd be surprised how much easier it is to carry this bottle with the handle! It's very leak-proof as well. It's tipped over before in my car or bag and not a drop escapes. I was impressed that an after-market addition would work this well. Worth every penny ;)
