Michel Legrand's - Legrand Jazz at Salle Pleyel in Paris with the London Big Band Orchestra is another example of the extraordinary achievements of this legendary pianist, composer and musical genius. This is a historic live concert that I highly recommend for Legrand's fans and Jazz enthusiasts.

I love Michel Legrand's music. I guess I have all of his official soundtracks on CD plus the ones taken from the old LPs tranfered to CD. But this product is a very special one! Is Legrand at his best on a field he dominates completely since the begining of his career: jazz! I mean, jazz played with a big, and in this case, fantastic orchestra. The sound and image of this product is amazing and if you play it on a Blu-ray the improvement of its quality shines all through it. At last but not the least, the special appearence of Alyson Moyet vocalising a few Michel's standarts makes it a five stars buy!

This DVD took an old man right to the times of his youth! Superb jazz! Great music for one and all but a special rejuvenator for my generation.It will put joy in your heart and a spring in your step!

Fantastic concert capturing all that is good in jazz without any pretension. Especially good to see a British big band backing a French legend. Excellent!
