Usually good?
I’ve had these before including the same brand and they have been fine. This particular one was broken an hour after using it. I think I just got a bad unit.

Easy to use
I am an aircraft mechanic, these are the type strippers we use at work. I have been using the scissor type strippers in my shop at home. They will really slow down a project. These are supper simple to use and fast. I can't believe I have not gotten these sooner. I have some other southwire tools and they are good. That is why I went with these. They seem to be very good quality. Nice and tight. The blades line up exactly and are not loose. The only bad thing about them is they will not strip 22 gage wire, 20 gage is the smallest . How often do you use 22 gage?

awkward for 8 ga
works well for but 8 ga, it pinches the conductor. I just am more careful with 8 ga, but seems to do a good job other wise.

Great tool very much worth the price
I love this tool so much it allowed me to strip wire 4 times faster after using it for about 2 months. it’s a tool I can’t go without. If you are stripping a lot of wires it’s a must
