Creative Haven Mosaic Masterpieces Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

I love this coloring book. Some days I like to color these patterns, not scenery and these images are wonderful. They allow for lots of color combinations that surprise you when finished.

I have all types of coloring books and I especially like this one. It is fun to get lost in the intricate details of the mosaics - they take a while but are well work it. I have done many in traditional colors - and others, I have pulled out my color well and used that as a guideline. This really helps me learn how colors work together.

This book is great. The images are lots of fun and printed on one side of the page. The paper is perforated which is standard for Creative Haven books. I have a few books by Marty Noble. While I don't love all the images, there are plenty that I do like. The images are pretty varied too. Most of them take up most of the page so there is a lot to color. Some of the images are "broken glass" types similar to the cover and others are more mosaic tile like. There is a section in the back of the book explaining where the images are taken from. Great for the price too.

Being and avid colorist that started this past summer, and I fell into hook line and sinker; I have collected a variety of coloring books, different types of mediums (pencils, pens, markers) ways to keep them all organized. I am learning my style, new techniques and what I enjoy coloring; which at the moment is pretty much most anything, although some of the finer detail areas have to wait for days my wrists or eyes aren't bothering me; and having a magnifying glass also helps too. There is such a wide variety of coloring books out there for adults; if you are looking for something to help de-stress, to help cope maybe with different medical issues you maybe facing or whatever, don't be afraid, just jump on it there and give it a shot; I am sure you will find something that will suit your fancy and they even have coloring books for men too. A lot of these artists have GREAT talent, and it surely shows when you flip through these pages. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up a coloring pencil, kick up your feet, sit back and relax and color yourself a great picture!!!

Not what I expected; but still very interesting:*** 8 of painted pottery pieces,*** 3 geometric designs, and*** tiny pieces: 8 of animals, 6 of people (3 faces, a man from the front and a woman from behind in the ancient Greek-Roman style -- nothing rude, anda man releasing a bird -- not overtly religious), and*** 5 miscellaneous.The pages are numbered along the inside margin and the inside cover lists the origin of each design.As usual, single-sided and perforated pages. Good value.

This one is a dud for me...The few picture previewed (customer images) on Amazon show "the best ones " in this book. Honestly, a lot of the pictures include people,faces and animals. I find it hard to place colors in a pleasing way within the Mosaic designs. I color for relaxation, this book causes too much stress. If you are still remotely interested I suggest seeking it out locally.

I have a fellow enthusiast that likes to color in detail and this book works for both of us so she liked mine so much that I ended up giving them to her as a gift. Now I need to get one for me again.

Creative Haven coloring books are just wonderfully done. This book is no exception,the intricately designed book with mosaic work involving pages of "broken" large tile designs as well a mural mosaics that allow you to imagine all the subtle shades of texture and color that the originals may have had. Beautiful book for those older artists ready for a challenge.

Great book, printed one side only on good quality paper

Adult colouring! Fantastic for when wanting to relax, lots of complicated pictures to colour in.

El más bonito es el de la portada, realmente me esperaba maravillosos diseños, he encontrado muchos de los antiguos libros de mandalas, aunque reconozco haber visto tantos, que quizás para muchos sean nuevos y bonitos diseños

Ich habe das Heft (DinA4) heute bekommen und bin zufrieden über die 30 schönen Muster.Jede Seite ist natürlich anders, überwiegend sind es Ausschnitte aus Mosaike, wie man sie aus römischen Villen oder auch Kirchen kennt.Die Qualität des Papiers ist okay, ich male mit Filzstiften. Für Wasserfarben ist es wohl ungeeignet.Die Seiten kann man heraustrennen.

Il y a de très beaux modèles, dont des mosaïques byzantines. Pour les amateurs de ces travaux manuels, un bon ouvrage de références.
