Used this kit to expand a 1/8” hole in 3/4” thick glass to 1.5” large. Used the thicker drum bits and changed to a fresh bit for each new piece of glass. Not sure I needed to change bits but for toe cost of these I figured why not. The bits honestly looked pretty fresh still after the tough job I gave each one.Used a constant cool water stream on the glass and went slow and steady and the bits plugged right along and ended up making great cuts.Directions are not a great translation but not useless except for the parts about the actual drill bits. Those didn’t make much sense to me.

I purchased this set and drill holes in various glass bottles, I drilled over 30 holes with one bit, and the bit still works great. Fantastic bits.

Although the instructions are clearly not written by a native English speaker, it was easy enough to figure them out. They only describe use on glass or porcelain tiled wall, and I'm not quite sure what a couple of the bits are for, but I bought them for ceramic and they worked great for my purpose. I like that there are multiples for each type, so you don't have to get more if they wear out, although the one I used today should be fine for a few more projects. I drilled 4 holes in the bottom of 4 different pots, 2 of which were quite thick, but no cracking, and the bit seems to be in good shape still.

Even though I only use two of the shapes of bits in this kit (the cylinder and the flared), I think these are a great value for the cost.I use these to drill drainage holes in small ceramic and glass containers to make planters for succulents and have found that one bit will create at least 10 holes (oftentimes more) before needing to be replaced. It helps to create a pool of vegetable oil on top of the surface to keep the bit cool or to have a small container of oil or water close by to dip into frequently for the same purpose.The instructions, while not in perfect English, make sense to be able to follow easily. The main things are to keep the bit as cool as possible and to start hole, use the edge of the circular plane surface, then use the sides of the bit to widen the hole.

This product is a must for anyone doing crafts … use it for stained glass projects and all bits worked great in Dremel tool. Good fit.

My first time drilling holes in glass and I was a nervous wreck. I just knew my glass was going to shatter all over the place. I was surprised. My first attempt worked out perfectly! Just follow the instructions and you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever. I did use a little cooling oil. Is cooling oil absolutely necessary? I don't know. Some say water works well, too. But, since my first try went so smoothly, I'll just keep on using the oil.
