Works as advertised
The media could not be loaded. The emitter is still working well and appropriately for my usage. As one can see there are some aberration in the laser culmination, however this can be mitigated. I use this laser transmitter as part of an arduino dog toy. With intermittent daily usage it has continued to work well for several months and as a side benefit my canine friend has become more fit.

Nice project lasers
I got these because I wanted to create a laser maze just as a fun arduino project. These worked great for what I needed. There wasn't really a good explanation of what the 3 different pins were for; I only used 2.

Amazing for its price
Put a 9v on this board and shined it abt 70ft away, then I focused the lens as much as possible and shined it pretty far, opened Google maps and figured out I could see it at a distance of 500ft with daylight out an hour before dusk, very satisfied, accidentally reflected into my eyes off of a window, would suggest you use caution.

None working in my batch
Others have mentioned the + and S pins being reversed. I tried applying 5V to these pins as indicated and in reverse, even with fresh devices in case reverse biasing them burns them up. There was no current draw from my lab power supply in either configuration and they do not light up. I suggest looking elsewhere. There are many sellers of similar devices.

Work Well, Confusing Wire Label
They function well however the wiring is all messed up. Ground and 5v are swapped I believe on the label.
