I was hesitant to purchase YET another espresso tool, however this was the best money that I have spent thus far!This distributor & tamper works amazingly well! It fits perfectly in the Breville 54mm portafilter and is way easier to use versus a traditional tamper.There is a decent amount of weight to the distributor / tamper that automatically sinks the grinds when inserted. A few turns on the distributor and your grinds will be evenly distributed throughout the portafilter, flip it to the tamper side and press down. The construction and weight of the tamper will ensure that you have a perfectly level puck in your portafilter!I have already recommended this product to a few of my friends!Also this distributor / tamper is fully adjustable!

Nice heavy weight behind it which tamps the coffee down with minimal force and looks great too. Best bang for buck.

This thing is sturdy, it’s heavy to pick up and will hold up over time for sure. Overall, it saves me a ton of time distributing the espresso puck and also works as a way better tamp than my barista express original tamp. You can adjust how deep the tamp or distributor goes into the Porta filter depending on how much grinds you use. This is a very high quality product and works wonderfully, really stepped up my espresso game with this one.

Just received the item and have to say it’s pretty substantial. The surfaces on both the distributor side and the tamper are very nicely formed. I have a delonghi machine and this fits the 51mm portafilter very well.The whole unit is metal and disassembles to four parts.So far serves my purpose for coffee grind distribution well and now do not need a separate tamper as this is an all n one unit.Happy with purchase!Hope the photos help.

Well made product, it’s very solid. and heavy. I really like the first side that gets the grounds evenly distributed. Then you just flip it over and temp. Both sides have adjustable depths so you can adjust get the same perfect temp every time

Does what it's supposed to do. It's well made and looks great. The knurls on the side make it easy to grip. However there is one annoying flaw in its design. This device allows you to adjust the depth of the ground distribution side by screwing or unscrewing it from the base. I set my depth deeper than default and I had to unscrew it a bit, leaving a gap between the two pieces. Because of this gap, grounds get stuck in this gap every time I use it. I have to clean it out after every use. Other than that, it's okay. In retrospect, I wish I got a V shaped distributer so I can go counter clockwise. The shape of this one only allows you to go clockwise.

Bought this for the leveling side as I already have a nice tamper that automatically gives the proper tamping pressure. I do still use the tamping side as a pre-tamping before the full pressure applied by my automatic tamper. Probably would not need this though. I get perfectly level coffee pucks with this now. This combo unit by itself would do the job without my old tamper I'm sure.

Es fácil de limpiar y mantener.Tiene un buen peso, así que cunado lo manipulas se siente bastante bien en las manos.Lo único que me molesta, es cuando lo tengo que calibrar para que no aplaste el grano y lo distribuya lo mejor posible. Tardo un poco, al menos as primeras veces.

Es un bloque sólido. Pesado. Básicamente se siente como si fuera a durar para siempre, tiene un lindo diseño así que no desluce junto a la cafetera, y hace su trabajo muy bien, que es distribuir el café en mi portafiltro.
