They get plenty long to keep even little hands far enough away from the fire. Perfect to conserve space in the camper. I love how small these collapse for storage too. Like all marshmallow roasters, the ends get black and nasty, but these are no worse than any others.

We received these sticks and have used them twice. They seem to be very sturdy. The are telescoping so can be adjusted to a variety of lengths. The ends discolor but that is expected when using them over an open fire. I plan on buying some as a housewarming gift for my neighbors as they have a campfire most nights. The tips are not pointed so I feel they are family friendly. We love the small storage bag that comes with them.

These extra long, telescoping food skewers appear very well built. As advertised "this new model, we also created NON-SHARP tips, to prevent children from being injured" and boy they sure did! During our highly scientific testing with real food and fire, we were unable to pierce a standard Nathans hot dog casing. Assuming that this is a suitable substitute for a child's finger, well done! Sadly, our youngest is now 40 so my grinding wheel quickly put the missing point on the tip. Once again we tested with food and fire and they did not disappoint. With a hot bed of coals and two skewers, I was able to grill four hotdogs to savory goodness without risking injury. See you around the campfire!

These were perfect for my daughter, who wanted them for s'mores with friends now that she has her own home and a fire pit. We chose these because they were longer and colorful. They seem well enough made I ordered a set to use for something unrelated to marshmallows. We needed good telescoping rods with something that could lift a set of keys off a hook from at least 3 feet away. It's for one of the escape games I own and our telescoping rods are broken every few months. These are far less money and work perfectly for it!

Liked the pouxh that came with them- made portability easy. They remain sturdy in full extension. Liked that they were different colors so ea person could distinguish which one belonged to them

So far, we have used our forks for hot dogs and kielbasa, as well as for marshmallows. They securely hold the food and allow for good control of it when you are holding it over the fire. The heavy sausages did not cause any permanent bending. They wash off very easily. I appreciate the lack of sharp points at the end of the forks, and not having sharp points caused no problems in terms of getting the food on and off. The canvas storage back is very handy. I am really happy with this purchase, and I expect that we will get a lot of use of these this summer and beyond.

We bought these for a family camping trip. Since there were going to be a bunch of young kids making smores around a campfire, I was very worried about safety. Thankfully, I was able to find these non-sharp roasting sticks. They have a nice color coded rubber griped handles and telescope so the kids didn't need to get close to the fire. I was a little worried that the blunt ends might give us problems with actually skewering the food, but we did hot dogs and marshmallows no problem. I also appreciate the handy carrying case that was included. They seem to be very high quality and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I would highly recommend to anyone in search of roasting sticks who has children.

We love the length! Love the foam handles. LOVE the carrying case! Easy to use.Unfortunately one does not extend. It appears welded together at the part where two extensions meet...Absolutely love the design, detail and personal touch. Anytime Family seems like a great company trying to provide quality products.
