I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to metal detecting so I don’t have much to compare this detector to, however I do feel as though it’s very beginner-friendly, intuitive and good quality.For the price, I didn’t particularly have high expectations… however don’t let the price deceive you, this is a solid piece of kit and it’s suitable for both adults and children.We took it out to our local beach and found all sorts of junk – although probably worthless we had a lot of fun seeing what we could find. Looking forward to taking it out again and seeing what we can find!

My first go at one of these and surprisingly easy to assemble. Haven't tried yet as weather not great but been in the garden and is easy to operate for a novice. Can't wait to get out and about and finding lost treasures.

I got it as a gift. It’s easy to assemble and to navigate. It’s suitable for beginners and there are no unnecessary settings and parts. Keep in mind that you need to buy the batteries separately(they are offered with prime so just get them together).

My last one broke! Which sucks as my chance of becoming a millionaire has been stumped!! Well not now! This was a cheaper version of my last one but does just as well... works well and is well built! Happy days

I got it for my girls as they were off school a couple weeks and insisted to get it. Comes very well packed and with a really nice carry case. I have used it a few times within the back garden and I must say that this thing really works! All in all a great gadget and good quality can't complain.
