I got this mat for my desk, because I'm a smoker and wanted a way to keep my desk clean from ashes.This has worked really well so far for that and for other unexpected things, such as crafting.The mat Is a slightly different color in person, it's more of a blue-purple rather than the pink-purple It looks in the photo. But, I've also had a lot of issues photographing purple so I understand that it's more likely to be a processing issue than a misrepresentation issue.The mat does curl slightly when you first use it because it's rolled for shipping, but that resolved within a day or so.The reason I like this mat is because of its size and thickness. It has a slight spongeness to it, enough to make your hand/wrist comfortable while using it but not enough that it feels flimsy.The size allows it to be used for a lot of things, I've been using it as a way to protect my desk while crafting, and it's big enough to fit a lot of supplies on it while still leaving room to work on it. The top material is soft but keeps beads from rolling around or vinyl from slipping off the desk. I've been using it to place my cricut cutting mat on and it helps it from sliding off the desk when I turn around to grab more material.I've also found myself grabbing it quite often to place items on before photographing them. It offers a great solid background for photography.Overall, it's a mouse pad and works well for that purpose, but because of its width and length it's large enough to be useful for a lot of other things and seems to be made very well which is why I rated it so highly.

Giving as a Christmas gift so I didn’t unwrap the plastic. Product arrived promptly & well sealed. Color is just like the picture. Hoping this is what my niece wants for her desk.

I love the color and the size is perfect for my desk. I just wish it was thicker so it would stay flat. It feels cheap but it’s doing the job.

We repainted daughters desk white and was concerned that when she used her desk she may damage it. So we bought this desk mat is her favorite color - purple. It comes rolled so you need to flatten which we did overnight. It lays flat now and looks great!

Junk don’t waste your money. Looks good in the picture but ours is now peeling and bubbling. Returning it.

This looks nice - but is darker than the color pictured. Unfortunately, oil in food leaves marks that I can't get out. Mine was ruined by Chinese food.

My color scheme in my office is purple and pink. The color is a little deeper purple than the picture shows but, it looksvery nice.

I purchased this product for my daughters brand new desk. The desk mat works great! It stays in place and keeps her desk from being scratched and keeps it nice and organized. We love it!
