HDE USB Flash Drive Disk 16 GB Shining Golden Bullet

Had it for years and it is still functioning great. The only problem is that it might be too bulky to fit in some computers. Have a back up just in case because I had to turn in my assignment but it wouldn't fit in my profs laptop! Luckily, he was a cool dude so he gave me a chance to find another flash drive and turn it in with that one. But it looks super cool when you have it around your neck. Just try not to wear it if you're going to an airport or something... It's also pretty sharp so even though it's not an actual bullet, you could still really hurt someone if you use it as a bullet shank.

I've been using this for quite some time and it does what I need it to do. That being said, I don't really recommend it.First of all, it's not brass.. not even close. It's more akin to a spray painted, pseudo-anodized burnt orange. Second the tip is SO sharp, you're very likely to stab holes in things.. like the seat of your car, or a hole in your pocket, or your leg, or your cat... you get the idea.It's neat looking from afar and it works as a Flash Drive. That's about the extent of its worth.Now go buy something better for cheaper.

This "8 GB Shining Golden Bulllet USB Drive" is perfect for any firearm enthusiast! The bullrt is a little larger than it appears in the product picture, but the full size USB connector is a good indication of the actual size.The all metal construction actually provides decent protection for the flash drive that stores in the "casing". This does not appear to be the fastest USB drive I have tried, but it works just fine for documents and pictures.The drive is a great novelty that has practical functionality as well!Highly Recommended!CFH

Product just arrived today. Like other reviews say, this bullet is huge compared to the pictures. In my opinion it's too big to carry on a key ring. Even after reading the reviews and description I was still surprised at how big it was. Another downside is the fact this bullet (cap covering the usb) is extremely sharp. the pictures show a rouded top but it is in fact extremely sharp and could easily hurt someone. These two attribute bother me and so I may just send the product back, I have't decided yet. Have not used it in my PC yet.

A bit bigger than anticipated, about 3.5 inches long and maybe .5" diameter. That may have been mentioned in the description though. Other than that it appears to be a pretty sweet flash drive. The tip is sharper than anticipated as well, but I like that. Very shiny and it appears durable. Haven't used it yet, but connects to my laptop just fine.

PROS:- machined aluminum (not plastic as reported by some)- good read speed (above 15 MB/sec)- looks like a powder-coat, not painted- fast delivery- screw-cap (won't fall off and get lost)CONS:- typically slow write speed (4 MB/sec)- satin gold/copper finish (prefer shiny brass)- a little bigger than it has to be

It looks great and I get a lot of second looks (I have it on my key chain). The reason for the 3 stars is that when I use it in a Mac, the fit is really tight and when I removed it, the inside part stuck in the computer and the "shell" part came off. No big deal, I just pulled the rest out and put it back in the shell, but it's still annoying that it came apart that easy.

So maybe this is my own fault for buying a USB in the shape of a bullet, but the thing is huge, far from real looking (unless you know of a giant plastic .50 cal) and, well, ridiculous. Sorta the point, maybe, but on looks alone it goes from being something that I could have on my keychain to being something I'll hide.Still... 8gb usb for $10 - can't complain.
