The straps slip through the cheap buckles so that the tines penetrate the earth and your foot separates from the sandal as you lift it away, leaving the sandal stuck in the yard. Even if you tie the straps, they’re made of such poor material that it just stretches. I would not recommend these to anyone.

This is a cheap horrible product. The buckle loosened and bent on my first step.

The straps that go around your boots flat out suck. The spikes do the job but this is an ankle breaker!

sorry folks. These are verging on unuseable. First, there were no directions, second once I spend half hour assembling them, they do not stay on. The straps do not lock and the long, excess strapping gets in the way. Very disappointed. Getting ready to call the company and/or return. Nice idea just didn't result in high use potential.

no issues!! well made tricky though to transfer from grass to concrete seeing i would have to remove & put back on.... hey that's my yard.hoping to see results this spring!

Straps are useless. Not as pictured, i.e. no locking mechanism. Looking to improvise a solution with other straps, but may just rent an aerator. Should have paid attention to other reviews.

Very very very very bad! Bent and broke in lawn....the very place they are suppose to work! More crap for my garage.Very disappointed.Amazon shouldn't sale crap product.Might not ever order from Amazon again.

Works great except for the straps to keep then on your feet. Those just need to be replaced.
