Talk about a bright light, I hope it lasts a long time because of the cost, it was definitely worth it.If your working with your hands in an area, you need a sufficient amount of light, this led bulb takes care of that tremendously..

I bought this LED bulb to put in an old Smith-Victor AC light fixture with a standard screw-in socket and a 12 inch reflector and to date, this is the brightest bulb I’ve ever put in this fixture. I use the fixture for location video production as my main key light and even put a silk-like white fabric scrim with elastic edge on the reflector with no problems since this bulb does not create enough heat to have any problems with melting or burning the scrim. I would buy another one or more with no worries when I get ready to expand the location video lighting kit! I can easily power the bulb using a fully charged Egretech Plume 300 power supply’s single AC outlet FOR HOURS since the bulb only draws approximately 60 watts which make this fixture coupled with the Sansi 9000 bulb very portable and not needing extension cords for location production. I use a Manfrotto convertible boom light stand with the wheels so me or an assistant can easily roll the self-contained lighting unit from location to location and this makes better time management with production.

This said nothing about enclosed fixtures on the web page, but tiny tiny print on the package said "not for use in encolsed luminaries." I tried it anyway. A month later, two bulbs are still burning fine in 8" plastic globes in outdoor fixtures in 90F weather. I've seen _so_ many premature failures in LED bulbs that I'm not holding my breath, but this looks like a winner.

Fits in a garage door opener and packs a punch. In a garage door opener, roughly half of the light goes up, but that’s true with any bulb.This bulb is roughly half the brightness of a good quality 60W corn bulb. In my primary work area I prefer the RuggedGrade 60W, but the rest of my garage is slowly getting upgraded Ed to these Sansi A21 bulbs.I wouldn’t personally use these indoor anywhere in our current house (I prefer 100W equivalent max indoor), but these are hard to beat for the price in the garage. Way better than those 3-leaf folding pieces of garbage that are on the marked… this gives pleasant even lighting at a good color temperature.Unless you’re filming a vampire movie I’d go with the 3,000K color temperature, but that’s just me.

My neighbor put in a ridiculously bright light on their back deck that shines directly in my bedroom. I got this bulb to put on my back deck to shine in theirs. It works great! The neighbor no longer leaves their light on. Works great. 10/10.

So normally I would just return them and not bother with a review, BUT, these two dead on arrival bulbs made me go crazy trying to figure out why my light switches were not working!! I found it hard to believe that BOTH bulbs would be defective, so I swear I was pressing this switch, and that switch, and the one on the other wall. I was seriously about to call an electrician! Then I was like, try the bulb in a socket I know works, and an old bulb in the current lamps. Well, what do you know, it was these bulbs! For $25 EACH that is very poor quality control. I was really hoping for these bulbs to light up my back porch but they failed to light at all!! Grrrrrr

Don't know what other reviewers are complaining about pertaining to this let's brightness. It is very bright and with a 5000k color temperature, white. I normally favor 4000k lights but this one makes reading a whole lot easier.

I have been very happy with all the Sansi bulbs I have purchased. This one is the brightest yet, but it's too white for my room (5000K). This is not a defect; bulb color is exactly as advertised.I will wait for a warm white version with these same 6500 lumens -- none seems to be available yet.Will use this one in the garage instead of the living room for now!Retroactive 5 stars to all the Sansi 4000+ lumen bulbs I have purchased over the last few years. :)

This bulb gives off a lot of light. Also it has CE certification which I also like.

Waste of money . Defective after a few months
