Bubbles Glass
It is definitely airtight. Not the best for a terrarium as the glass warps the view because it’s so thick. Too many bubbles in the glass. Ordered a replacement and it arrived shattered. I gave up.

Second one I've bought. Great jar, true to size and large mouth makes use easy. I'm using it for plants and making terrariums. Planning to get a couple more when restocked.

Perfect for a terrarium
I'm using this as a terrarium and I actually trimmed the plastic seal down a little bit because it was difficult to open, it was that airtight. If you're looking for a really big glass container for any reason, I recommend this one. It's nice-looking, holds a lot, and is as airtight as you could wish.

Love this jar. I put my rice in it. It has a rubber seal. So pretty you don't have to hide it.
