I currently have this on my flagpole with 2 5ftx3ft flags and works perfectly in keeping them tight and to the pole.

Flag Retaining Ring for Flagpoles.
The wire used on this product is far too light for the wind we have in the north-east of the UK. The wire snapped on one of the two rings we purchased causing the beads to fall on our garden. Have now replaced the wire with 2mm coated wire and will see how things go. Might be okay for sheltered locations only.

Update. This product FAILED after 5 weeks. Cable snapped and left flag unsecured at bottom edge.
Initially very pleased with the product, but snapped after only 5 weeks use. Will attempt to contact seller for a replacement. Update to follow.
