Soulful resin/incense
I’m from NM, but no longer live there. I have been searching for smells that remind me of home, and this is it. The care taken to make this as well as even wrapping it with cloth to keep it safe, this is sacred and I’m so grateful

Expensive, but worth it
This incense is strong and potent. It's very slow burning so you can light it and extinguished it at your leisure. Very well packed so the sticks are not broken or crumbled when you get them. They are great!

An amazing product that seems to bring me a sense of peace
My husband and I were first introduced to copal down on the Yucatan peninsula back in '01 or '02. It was our first vacation together in an amazing little house on Solomon Bay. The caretaker there used to burn copal in the house every evening, and it was rumored to have something of an aphrodisiac quality. Can't say they were wrong about that *blush* or it could have just been the scenery or power of suggestion. Anyway, the smell of good copal is truly intoxicating. The caretaker was sure to give us a giant chunk of the stuff before we left, with something of a knowing smile I might add. We cherished that copal and were so sad when it was gone that we actually went back to the exact same place two or three yrs later. The caretaker wasn't there anymore, but we were able to snag some more. You can still buy the actual copal resin here on Amazon as well as the little charcoal discs to burn it on. But after finding it on an incense stick, I was elated!! Raw copal as a resin tends to smoke quite a bit, as do these incense sticks, but not quite as badly. The quality of the copal itself is not quite was we first encountered, but it's close enough. I lost my dearest husband to cancer last June, but I burn this every few days to help remind me of him and our wonderful vacations together. It's said to have healing qualities, and is used in Dia de los Muertos altars to lead ones' passed loved ones back for that one night. I have a small altar made with my husband's picture and an assortment of candles and some of this favorite things. It brings back wonderful memories and just really smells amazing. Maybe not for everyone, and not necessarily your typical incense because it can smoke quite a bit. Just use good ventilation and let the good vibes in.

Smells like Santa fe!
I love the scent! Reminds me of Santa Fe New Mexico and every spa I have ever been too! It last forever, burns slow. My husband hates the smell. He says it's like a skunk! So ease in or burn it when he's not home.

Smells amazing
I’ve bought other brands of copal and none of them smell as good as this one.
