It was durable & worth the price.

I ordered this due to all the high ratings, but I can't help but think I got a different product than other reviewers. This thing is miserable. It is so thin it curls and won't lay flat, and so small that my chair always rolls off of it. The net result is that at least once a day the mat will curl up and catch the wheel of my chair- or a toe. This thing is terrible.

This chair mat does not work well at all. I have it on a very low pile carpet and the wheels of my chair sink into it so it’s very hard to move my chair. It’s a softer material than the old one I had. I should have spent more money for a nicer option. Live and learn.

I bought a couple of the harder plastic ones back a few years ago and am letting my daughter and son-in-law use them. I got two of these to replace for my hubby and I. I couldn't believe the price increase on what we had previously ordered here on Amazon. I simply couldn't afford to purchase them again as replacements for what we'd lent out. I got these.No contest, the harder plastic is so much better. I went one day from using the better ones to these so both my hubby and I noted the huge difference. Our chairs do not slide so easily anymore BUT carpet is protected.If you cannot afford more than this, get this. If you can get the harder plastic ones, got for it.I don't regret this purchase but I wouldn't buy it again. It works.....barely.Thank you.

This item is not as described. It is very Poor Quality and does not stay in place when the chair is moved. The chair will NOT smoothly move across the mat and there is a lot of "wobble". There are much better options out there.

It's like rolling around on a sponge. Technically I guess it works at protecting the carpet, but the chair still rolls like it's on carpet. Lateral move at best. Get a harder plastic one.

Too soft as the chair wheels sink into the low pile carpet on the matt and makes it difficult to move the chair. It's pointless to have this matt, when the chair can indent the matt into the carpet. You might as well not have anything on the carpet. It may be ok on hardwood floor, but not suitable for carpet as the description states.
