Kenya AA Washed Unroasted Green Coffee Beans (5 LB)

It is Kenya AA that you expected. I and my wife love this bean at slightly lighter that full city. Great acidity, great nutty flavor, light floral flavor. I never tried more that medium roast as my wife and i both like not to lose acidity and nutty flavor from this bean.

Novice to using the Poppery II for roasting coffee, but the Keurig has been the sidelines for the past few months while enjoying my new hobby. Coffee is good at about 5:30 minutes of roasting

I've experimented with many varieties of green beans, this variety is somewhat tart and almost lemony. I experimented with different roasting times and found Full City Plus gives the best flavor, roasting a few seconds into the second crack and stop. Daily I make an extra-large travel mug as I drive a delivery truck all morning. I sip and sip until lunch break. I have used sugar only and cream and sugar. The sugar only gives the best flavor and sugar and light cream are second-best. However the coffee seems to taste best toward the end of the run when it has grown cold! I imagine this variety might make a great cold brew. Don't reheat cold coffee in a microwave, that brings out too much of the tart lemony flavor. Pretty good coffee, but I think I prefer Sumatra.
