What I thought would be a hour tops job ended up being 5 hours putting this bed together. Whoever pre-cut and whoever marked the holes on where things should go should be fired. Nothing lined up at all. We had to unscrew and rescrew things in different places that it wasn't supposed to be just to make it fit together correctly. The board in the bottom of the storage bin part was not cut the right size so there's a big gap. Furthermore In the instructions on the two storage bin sides to put the hinges on says you need six screws. Well each hinge takes 3 screws. There are 3 hinges on each side . The Last time I knew 3 x3 =9. So we got shorted on screws because their instructions are incorrect. Their instructions only tell you there are 2 hinges when there are 3. With a little bit of shimmying we managed to get it together. 5 hours later....... Other than that, this bed is really pretty and soft, but I don't think it was worth the money for all the errors in the production of each part and marking the holes in the right place. On the hinged doors it would have been really helpful if they pre-tapped the screw holes because it's very hard to get a screwdriver in there because it's such a small space. My boyfriend and I are very mechanically inclined and usually does not take a long time to put things together, but this was ridiculous. This would probably be very hard for somebody to put together, that is not good at mechanical assembly.
