I bought this remote as a replacement for the original one I had (8+ years old) when it finally died. This one worked as expected for 12 months, but then conveniently started working intermittently on roadtrip. I changed the battery (three times) in attempts to fix it, but to no avail. It would work at first with a battery change long enough to lull you into a full sense of security, then would stop connecting with the receiver, disabling the ignition. Needless to say it was incredibly frustrating and caused many hours of troubleshooting.I contacted the supplier but they said it was "Well over replacement period." They declined to comment what the replacement period was, but do not expect this to work over one year.My advice is that if you buy this one, buy two and keep the spare on you because the reliability can't be trusted. That or go with a more reputable vendor. Clearly these are not the same quality as you would get from original auto shop.

I bought a used vehicle a year ago with remote start and two of these fobs. The fobs it came with were well worn and both became unresponsive for the remote start and lock functions from frequent use. I bought this replacement and it has served very well. But I am again going to need it replaced for the same reasons. This product paired and worked well. Would recommend the sleeve for this fob as sold separately.

Good product directions could be a little better watched a you tube video which helped

I have had to buy this a few times over the years. Once the battery goes bad it is difficult to get it to work again. Usually the battery lasts about two years. Works great. The programming on the box didn't work, but I found a YouTube video that showed an easy way.

Car cave with viper alarm, key fob with screen died. Got this one to retain remote start

these items work well with the vehicle and kind of hard to sync the remote to vehicle but can easy be taken care of. Good item

I like the product,but I think it’s a little expensive.
