The camera is incredible! Setup instructions are awful. For context, I only have experience with consumer cameras (Arlo, Ring, Blink, and Samsung's SmartCam). It took me several hours just to get it connected to my laptop. As it turns out the instructions where wrong - the camera is configured for DHCP out of the box. I probably would have saved 4 hours had I known this. Second, if you are like me and don't own a POE NVR or a POE switch, you will need a 12v power supply ($25 at best buy) to try this camera out. Third, if you don't have an NVR, I would recommend downloading the 15 day trial of Blue Iris software to test the camera out - it is really easy to set up (temporarily) on your computer and it has a companion mobile app ($10 on iOS) that is super easy to setup and use. (full disclosure - I did not go through all the steps to enable port forwarding for remote access, I simply connected with my phone on WiFi to try before I set up a Blue Iris server and buy a POE switch). Originally this was a 1 star review; I am changing it to a 5 star because the seller reached out right away and offered to help via email.

I bought this camera 6 months ago and it automatically deconfigures, I deactivated the motion detection and yet it wakes up pointing at another angle, and for the date, I cannot configure it on the phone or the computer, I restart it and it does nothing. Excellent picture with optical zoom. Good night vision. It is not fully functional through my Lorex system but works fairly well with Lorex local system and with phone app.

Easy to install and capture the image really well. It has good night vision and high picture quality. Can detect any motion movements. Overall it is a good security camera!

You can get then to view in Blue iris but the PTZ is slow as eff! then it dies altogether after 5 days. Can't anyone make a decent camera for outdoor use? Need UPTILT with 20x zoon fiolks!

Not sure what all the issues are with the other reviewers, but this camera is working very well at a construction site for about 7 months. The quality is good IMO; no not the best, but look at the price. Only one time did it wig out and spin in circles for about a minute, but that's it. It works very reliably with Blue Iris 5. Occasionally it will lag when operating the PTZ, but that may very well be a BI issue. I have the wired version btw. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the price has dropped below $200 at least once? Though I paid $250+ for mine.

I like the camera but I would like to be able to access camera settings with WiFi or Bluetooth…

First we bought this camera because we wanted to auto track vehicles and get license plates off therm.The original listing indicated it did. After installation we learned that it only tracks people. They changed the description after we complained to Amazon. Secondly it goes offline a lot and has to be restarted. Finally 10 months after we installed it rain got in and now the picture is useless. It is a cheap clone of on of the better brands.

Malgré le fait que j'en ai retourné une pour problème avec les settings qu'elle n'était pas en mesure de conserver (ce sont des choses qui arrivent malheureusement) l'autre n'a aucun problème de ce genre, en fait elle n'a aucun problème, elle fait très bien sont travail.Je confirme ce qu'une personne a mentionné dans ses commentaires, LE SEUL BÉMOL, est sa trop grande puissance, elle doit-être installé loin des zones à surveiller (environ un 50taine de pieds car elle a approximativement un angle de vue d'environ 64 degré de près (ce qui est très peu). Mais au-delà des 50 premiers pieds AYOYE! elle "drive" en sale. Je me suis mis à environ 75 pieds de la caméra en pleine nuit et sans aucune éclairage et il était impossible de dire que ce n'était pas moi. WOW! zoom automatique, auto tracking, c'était impressionnant. Facile d'identifier n'importe qui même dans la noirceur la plus complète.Au niveau des paramètres, vaut mieux s'y connaître car elle est assez complexe à comprendre. Il y a une tonne de paramètre à régler. Personnellement si j'avais une amélioration à apporter, c'est que je ferais en sorte que l'angle de vue général passe de 64 degré à au moins 100 degré et là, elle serait parfaite à toutes situations de près comme de loin.

Le seul bémol pour cette caméra est sa trop grande puissance! Il faut l’installer à une grande distance pour maximiser sa couverture. Dans le cas contraire vous devrez choisir l’angle que vous désirer protéger. Dans mon cas la caméra se trouve à environ 35 pieds avant le trottoir et j’arrive à couvrir une partie seulement soit l’entrée principale et l’entrée de garage ce qui est suffisamment pour moi. Les fonctions PTZ et IA pour la détection de véhicules ou personne fonctionne parfaitement. Combine avec un NVR, vous aurez une excellente protection.

I have got 4 of these cameras and 3 don't work and the forth is hit and miss on ptz control the camera is good picture but not good if I can't move it . These are cheap junk do not recommend buying these cameras

Can anybody instruct me to generate a QR code and cloud ID? These two should be generated automatically. I am not able to set it up for my cell phone.
