We liked the look of this coat rack online and it looks GREAT in the real world. Assembly was very easy. The threads on one of the sections had a minor burr and it took a bit of extra care & effort to screw the pieces together, but not a big deal. Fortunately, the marble bases arrived intact. They are packaged in styrofoam (I hate this stuff) and pretty well padded, but I can see how others may have received the product with a damaged base. Like one other buyer, I replaced the washer on the bottom with a larger diameter fender washer. My wife thought it a needless step, but I felt like it might improve the rack's stability and lessen the likelihood of damage to the base if torque was applied to the upright. We did not use the supplied felt pads as our rack was placed on a carpeted floor.Rack seems fairly sturdy & stable, but I wouldn't put too much weight on it, particularly the extended arm for hangars. If the rack were a little more substantial, I would have rated it five stars.

I have absolutely no complaints about this product.All of the materials are super high-quality. The base looks expensive and the gold finish is flawless. Not too shiny very elegant. I bought it with gold hangers that match perfectly. It was incredibly easy to install. You literally just screw the pieces together I didn’t even have to look at instructions.I put it in the master bathroom for when I have guests that may want to you hang items. Whether it’s used or not, it doesn’t matter, because it’s so cute. I just love seeing it in the room!

We have been looking for a non-traditional coat rack that could easily handle jackets, coats, and various shoulder bags. The unit itself is solid construction once assembled with a large, heavy marble base that illuminates any potential for tipping over. Definitely not your traditional coat rack. The springs style and uniqueness to the room. As to those concerned about assembly, the assembly of the unit was easy took about 15 to 30 minutes total with all the components fitting snuggly and has laid out in the directions. It seems that some people may have had trouble with assembling some of the components possibly the manufacturers address that because this went together without any hitches. If you’re looking for something unique, that will do the job this is the piece.

The four wooden balls at the center are meant to be pushed onto the branches and held in place with friction. However, the holes drilled into each ball are far too small to get onto the branch. I'll have to figure out how to expand the holes carefully. Other than that, as expected.
