California: Living + Eating

I was a little disappointed in this book. It is well put together and the images of this magical state are lovely, but I found it didn't quite work as a travel/cookery book. I found it curiously lacking in inspirational recipes that I want to cook. It might just be me, but I think it will be just a coffee table book.

This books glows with delicious, healthy, sunshiny recipes that are exactly what I want to eat! Accessible for an amateur with a great mix of simple but wow dishes and twists on comfort food favourites. The photos transport you to the golden state while you cook. Love this book!

I can’t wait to get started on these recipes. I’ve bookmarked many, from savoury to sweet. And it’s beautiful to look at too ❤️

A good range of recipes that are fairly easy to get to grips with alongside some beautiful photos.

I have enjoyed many of the recipes in this book particularly the jumbo oat date cookies. I make them for my grandson Toby when he visits me in Portugal
