This is a tough one to review - the product is working fine now (though it constantly disconnects on one of my USB ports but seems fine on another), but it was quite a chore to get there.The problem I ran in to is that I'm using this on an old Mac Pro running Mavericks (no built-in Wifi). The product doesn't include working Mac drivers, and drivers are required (not plug-and-play). Almost all of these USB Wifi adapters (regardless of brand) use the same chips from the same OEM, so it was a matter of tracking down Mac drivers that work with Mavericks and newer Mac OS's. Unfortunately, this was a huge pain and took days - I tried dozens of driver packages and read many articles and posts on how to get these products working on Mac OS 10.9+ (as Apple at some point changed the way drivers have to be installed).Many driver packages would install but not function, including the "original" Mac drivers I found for this product. Tipped off by a blog post somewhere, I ended up installing the drivers linked to on the heminet and szedup websites (Amazon won't let me post external URL's) - the driver package that worked for me is RTLWlanU_MacOS10.6_MacOS10.11_Driver_1830.2.b19_1827.4.b22_DropDownMenu_5.0.3.b2.zip.So, finally, I have working Wifi on my old Mac Pro. This product really, really, really needs to include working Mac drivers since it's advertised as being compatible with modern Mac OS's.

Incredible! We had very good service and internet speed until a new family moved onto our street on July 1st. Then, one side of our home was excellent download speed, but the side nearest new neighbors was 1.69 download (should be 60). Cable company sent out 3 techs; they changed our equipment every time, we switched computers...all to no avail. Then my son suggested this little gadget. I installed it yesterday and voila!...the speed in there is 66.0!!!!What a great product...what a great price! if you are having speed issues, try this first!!

Jack I'm very sorry to inform you the replacement EDUP 11AC 1200Jack im sorry to inform you the replacement EDUP 11AC 1200M Dual Band USB 3.0 Wireless Adapter is not working, the Supervisor from Cox Cable Tech Support is coming to my house and look it over this morning to see what he can do, so i will keep you informed, last night they rewired the whole house with new wiring, connectors and everything else to enhance speed to the modem and TV, so ill wait and see later today. i don't know what else that can be done after he runs his test, but i thank you for trying to help me. Also the width of the Edup 11AC 1200M is really too wide the proper width is the smaller width because I have a device for my mouse in the port next to where the devices your sending me go in, thanks Jack have a nice day.

This Wi-Fi adapter comes with a mini CD for installing the software drivers. Follow the instructions included in the packaging, and it should work just fine. The range is excellent, and it picks up signals very well.I installed it into a USB 3.0 jack on a Windows 10 desktop without any issues, and it started working immediately. For the quality and the price, I would highly recommend this for your wireless needs!

Worked fine out of the box, but after less than a month it started intermittently disconnecting. Started off slow, but after a week it would disconnect every 5-10 minutes. Drivers are up to date, everything seems to be functioning, but it still will not stay connected for long periods of time.

Works great so far! Getting exact same speeds as I was getting plugged in to ethernet.I am using this on my desktop because I was too lazy to install a network card inside my computer and this is working flawlessly. No drops or anything so far. I have it plugged in through USB 3.0.

I'll update this review if I can get it working as well as other people are claiming their's are. Took 3 tries to get it to connect to the router. It "works" on 5ghz but im only one room over and the dang thing is only giving me 5Mbps. Run speed test on my phone or laptop from the same room and it gives me 40Mbps same router. When I'm using it seems to be dropping signal.

The network adapters are easy to install, and they work great, so far. I don't have any issues at all, I get full internet speed and I am upstairs from the router. I have not had to make any adjustments to the router settings. Once I give the network password, the adapter is connected, and so far every boot up has been problem free. I ordered 2 for 2 different computers, and both work fine.
