I don't eat grapefruit but these work fine for cleaning seeds out of banana peppers before canning. I sharpened the tip a little and straightened the blade a little and they work great.

I was searching for a left-handed grapefruit knife. This design allows right or left hand use.

If you love grapefuit, you need a grapefuit knife!
Good quality knife; I just wish the blade was a bit more flexible. A grapefruit knife should be curved and bend to fit while cutting the fruit. I had to bend this knife myself. That's OK, but it's not too flexible.
