If you set this bag next to a name-brand one, could you tell the difference? Maybe not. Also great as a carry-on - not sure how you pack, but it fits easily in overhead bins. If you pack lightly, it's perfect as a carryon - it has a strap for shoulder carrying, handles if needed, and several pockets. An isolated spot for shoes to keep it separate from clean clothes. The bag is pretty lightweight. This bag's "Laripwit" brand logo emulates the popular "Herschel" brand.The shoe pocket can be awkward to use as other ppl have noted, but I throw my size 12's in there after a couple wiggles and there's some room to spare...you just have to learn to use that part of the bag well. Money well spent for a decent bag. Want a better bag? Spend more.

Love this bag! Bought it for a 3 day weekend road trip with limited trunk space in the car. (And as a healthcare provider, I also needed a bag for extra clothes for days when I had to stay at hospital overnight. )This bag was PERFECT! Able to fit 4 days of clothes with room to space. Although the separate zippered compartment on the bottom, can intrude on the space of the main compartment, I easily fit 2 pairs of shoes while protecting the other items from dirt or moisture. The zippers glide easily and the material is sturdy canvas with water-resistant lining. The handle straps are very securely stitched, making it easy to carry (even when full). The outside zipper pocket is convenient for cell phone, tickets, etc. And the color is BEAUTIFUL! Goes well with my other luggage pieces in red and leopard print. My only complaint is that although it has a textured rubberized bottom, there are no feet to keep it up off the floor, and there's no place for a large tablet/laptop. Otherwise, a great bag at a great price. Well made. Don't know how it fares with plane/train/bus travel, but should work well as a carry-on. Highly recommended for those quick trips or those hectic overnights.

I used this bag now on two lengthy international trips. The bag is very lightweight, but holds a lot. It fits handily on top of my wheeled suitcase. The zipper pulls can be locked together with a small lock to keep out a casual thief. Domestically, I was not questioned when using this as a personal item when boarding a plane with a suitcase. It helped that I just put it on my back as a backpack. It fits under the seat if not full, because the thin material collapses. In short, this bag has fulfilled all of my needs.

But for my son, And he says it’s the best bag he’s ever had. He can fit quite a lot in there, including his shoes in a separate compartment plus it has a waterproof area for bathing suits that are wet or workout clothes that are nasty so your other things stay clean.

This is an excellent bag with sturdy materials, zippers, stitching and design. It's a bag I use everyday. It has one common feature that irritates. The luggage industry, in general, has decided that black nylon linings are the best choice for every kind of bag or suitcase. I disagree. All light is absorbed by Black Holes . . . and black lining. Whole stars, and some of my stuff, are lost in blackness. Standing over my bag with a 1AA mini flashlight in my mouth seems a big price to pay. I realize light colored lining materials will show soil and marks. I would argue that scuff marks on light colored linings are of little consequence. It's a great bag though and the interior sucks light perfectly.

I never write reviews but I bought one of these in black as my go to duffel, used it for a week and liked it so much I bought a second one in grey to replace my gym duffel bag. I can fit boxing gloves, shin guards, shin protectors, groin protector, grappling shoes, two pairs of hand wraps, rash guard, a few headbands and other odds and ends and still have room for more if needed. My only (tiny) complaint is the shoe compartment and it's nothing that I would even say is bad about it, I just would personally prefer it slightly different. The seam runs up and down as opposed to side to side so to fit my shoes, I have to stack them instead of laying them flat, which also protrudes oddly into the bag making organization a little tricky. truthfully, I could be putting my shoes in incorrectly, thus causing this problem. I mostly use the compartment for dirty clothes in my go to bag and my groin protector in my gym bag (don't want that sweat near my mouthpiece thank you) but all in all I'm in love with these bags. I only just started using it so I'm not sure about the long term quality just yet, but it feels quite sturdy, especially for the price. Even if i had to replace it yearly, absolutely worth it. My FAVORITE thing about this bag are the adjustable straps and being able to wear it like a backpack! in two weeks, this has already save my shoulders an immense amount of burning. Normal use and the zipper broke off just like that. The stitches are also coming off looking really worn off after less than 1 month of use. Terrible value.
