Mens Web Belt 40 Inch Black Cut to Fit with Slider Clamp Buckle, 1.5 Inch Width

I originally only gave this review only one star because the buckle would not stay latched, as another, similar, one always does - which is what led me to buy another belt & buckle in a different color. However, the seller was sympathetic and responsible and upon recognizing the defect, promptly sent me a replacement. So...all is well with the belt & buckle, which reliably stays as tight as I want, and the seller who is responsible.

I have a lot of belts in my collection, I'm always searching for the perfect belt. This is definitely one of the better ones, I wear it often. First of all, it doesn't slip like a lot of other non hole in the leather belt belts, which I love. Secondly, it is easy to adjust, and it has infinite adjustments. It seems pretty rugged, I don't see this belt failing under normal circumstances. It looks a bit different, but not goofy which I like. The wide cloth belt is comfortable and supports the weight of my pants stuffed full of keys, wallet, phone, you get the idea, very well. My only compliant is that the belt is wide enough to be a pain to thread through the smaller belt loops on some pants. Also, the the leather tab at the end of the belt is hard to thread through the buckle itself, and especially the loop closest to the buckle which has two sections of belt squeezing though it. Other than that, it's great.

I bought this belt because this type is infinitely adjustable, unlike belts with holes. It is also much sturdier than those leather braided belts that last a few months and tear up. The buckle is very easy to lock and unlock and holds tight. No slip whatsoever. It's too bad this is only offered in one size. The belt is barely large enough (I wear a size 38 pants) leaving only about 3-4 inches when pulled through the buckle. However, it's not a deal breaker for me. I love it and would order other colors if available.

UPDATE: I went to put my pants on this morning and the Buckle split in two. I am not big or heavy set and I do not weigh it down with heavy utilities. It's only job was to hold my pants up and it failed, no belt should ever fail like this, so I must change my rating... It's a belt, it holds my pants up and it also looks good.Interestingly the webbing is filled with a mat of recycled fibers. I wouldn't say that this is good or bad, just that if you trim it a hot knife or melting the end is an essential to prevent not just unraveling but also unstuffing.

The original belt buckle did not bite well but the replacement buckle that was very promptly sent out by the seller works great. Thank you for the great customer service, Stanley!The original buckle did not have "Stanley" logo on the outside and it was faulty. The replacement buckle is Stanley-branded and it works fine.

Free drawstring gift bag is a joke. Poor material. Don't base your decision on buying this belt on the fact you get a free bag out of it. Do your customer's a favor, ditch the cost of the free bag, and reduce the price of your belts.Aside from the gift bag, this belt is nice. The buckle is a little larger than I was expecting, but it is not overwhelming or look abnormal.Material is good quality, and the buckle holds shut for me at all time and all activities.

So when I first got this belt I was real excited. It stayed closed and figured I was in the clear, but after about a 2 months of everyday use it finally ran into the popping open issues. When it worked it was a real nice belt and I enjoyed it very much but anymore its more of a hassle than it's worth wearing. For the price I paid and the happiness it brought me while it worked I would actually rate 2.5 stars.

Junk. Will not stay closed when you move around. The clasp pops open every time I bend over, which makes it completely worthless.Update: upon reading my review the manufacturer told me they had a replacement buckle that they assured me would stay closed and shipped it out to me. It arrived in two days and I have been wearing it for a couple months with no issues. As for the belt itself it is very sturdy and I am sure it will last a long time. For these reasons I have changed my rating from 1 to five stars.
