Used the tools to disassemble several MacBook Pro Retinas and have performed great! Used other tools before and the bits would round off and flake off but these seem sturdy and haven’t worn at all despite the good use. Also a good variety of tools included. Just a step below the iFixit tools, but with the price and Prime I would see no reason not to get these!

I recently installed additional memory to my Mac Book Pro (mid 2012 model). The memory was super easy to install once I got the back cover off of the MacBook. Much to my dismay it requires a special screwdriver. I have at least 50 screwdrivers in all sizes and shapes but none worked. I ordered the Kingsdun 4 piece set from Amazon.com and got next day delivery. They worked like a charm at removing the screws from my MacBook. I would highly recommend installing additional memory yourself. It is super easy and very economical.

The screw drivers are of good quality and work perfect. When I had ordered this kit, it came with a .8 Pentalobe driver instead of the listed Torx T5 driver. I was contacted by Kingsdun customer service and they offered to rectify the situation by sending me another replacement kit with the appropriate size. I was very happy with the customer service I received and would definitely purchase again.

My venerable MacBook Pro 13" battery died. I ordered a battery replacement kit and took the chance to repair it myself to save $$. The kit was OK, purchased elsewhere, but the pentalobe driver for it failed, basically the 'screw' rounded off the tip. Completed the repair with this driver. Looks to be a quality tool but hard to gauge based on limited use, hence the 4 star rating vs 5.

Exactly what I needed to open up my MacBook. I spilled coffee on my late-2015 MacBook Air and it stopped turning on. I put the laptop in rice and ordered this kit because I couldn't get the back paneling off without the pentalobe screwdriver. After it arrived, I looked up a mac disassembly manual. The spudger was also really useful for prying apart the tiny parts inside. After cleaning the corrosion off the motherboard with alcohol, I reassembled it and the MacBook came back to life :) I'm typing from it now, it's like nothing ever happened to it. Saved myself $800+.

I ordered these after my iFixit P5 and T5 stripped after not even using 5 times! Those were really fragile and poor quality. These I can tell are made with high quality material. I have been using it more than 5 times and they are still like new. These are the only thing needed to get the job done removing my Mac SSD. This was a great purchase! I would recommend purchasing these.

Needed to open my MacBook Pro and this did the trick. No problems and didn't break like some cheap tools do after a couple uses.

Terrible quality. Bought this kit to tighten the bottom panel screws on my mid 2015 MBP. The pentalobe screw driver was very loose in the screw head. Didn't put much force in turning the screwdriver and the ridges of the screwdriver head actually twisted. The head of the screwdriver is extremely soft. I'm used to these cheap small screwdrivers wearing out after a while, but this didn't even last 1 screw. Don't even try this brand, save the time and money and buy another.

Unlike other reviewers, the tool set I got in November 2020 was really high quality - better than I was expecting for the price. I've used it to swap 3 SSDs in 2 MacBook Airs and 1 MacBook Pro - tools fit tight and seem strong, no stripping or tool damage yet as I have had with other cheaper tool sets. Highly recommended. I had an issue with the T5 screw holding the SSD with other tools, but this one worked great, without damaging the screw.

My MacBook Pro crashed randomly and I was determined to avoid the big Apple lineups by looking at my SSD myself. Ordered these screws, took my computer apart, unplugged then replugged my SSD and everything worked great! Also love that these screws have a strong magnet inside, so it's perfect for not losing the screws. A definite 10/10

I wanted to open up my MacBook early 2015 version to do some minor repair and didn’t want to spend a fortune on basic screwdrivers. Researched a bit and came across these on Amazon. I have used them quite a few times in last few days and they are a must have for anyone who owns a Mac and needs an ability to open the back panel. Only gripe would be that the magnetic tips aren’t strong enough but at the price you can’t go wrong with these tools. Given that you would not need these everyday the price point is very attractive. If you’re a professional repair person you may want to look for more sturdy tools.

Works well for a 13” retina MacBook Pro mid 2014. Other kits on Amazon didn’t work but this does. Magnetic ends hold the screws perfectly.
