This is an excellent saffron.
You can read all about it on the web, but very little of the flower is important in the flavor and aroma. THIS makes it Not-Cheap and invites snake oil salespeople. This saffron is the REAL deal. VERY fragrant and a deep rich flavor. You can save a little bit of $$ because a little goes a very long way!

First Class Moroccan Saffron
This stuff is amazing! So fresh and tasty! Really enhances the flavor of the food. I couldn't have been happier and ask for more because the item came packaged beautifully and I love the glass jar and I don't have to worry that it won't stay fresh for a very long time. Kudos to the makers of this Moroccan saffron and keep up the great work!

The price is good for high quality saffron
The price is good for high quality saffron. The bottle it came in is an awkward inconvenient shape though, and it was very difficult to take the cap off. There weren't any instructions as to how to open it and I had to use a knife to pry off the cap.

the so called"saffron" looked bad and smelled worse
Packaging looked lovely. However, when opened, the so called"saffron" looked bad and smelled worse. I THINK THIS PRODUCT IS A SCAM. The threads were dry and stiff, and smelled like chemical dye. Interestingly, the threads do indeed seem to be dyed red, as there are some obviously un-dyed places on the fibers. Since I grow crocuses in my garden, I do know what the stamens look like. THIS DOES NOT SEEM AUTHENTIC< BUT SEEMS TO BE DYED GRASS FIBERS OT SOMETHING SIMILAR..

No seal of freshness
Item had no seal of freshness, It look used, and lit was damaged. I tried to return item the next day of delivery and got air message"Item not eligible for return"
