Definitely not black. Brownish-gray at most.

Right size for my propane parlor stove.
These stones really helped the flame and heat when added to my stove.

The rocks are fine, sizing is good but this are NOT black whatsoever. They’re dusty tan with a red tint. Very disappointed.

While there were stones of the correct size (3/8”-3/4”), the majority of the stones are less than 1/4”.
