What a steal!
I have been working on putting together a wilderness survival bag for a bit, and I took a chance on this pack due to its budget friendly price point, and I am sure glad I did! I had been looking at bags for a bit, and ended up in REI a while ago with a friend and was shocked at what they wanted for a basic hiking pack. This bag is seriously well built and thought out, and is roomy enough for even the most bulky of items. The ability to carry two fishing poles is just the icing on the cake. There's tons of places to clip items onto and a wide range of adjustability that will suit many body types well. The ippers don't seem cheap, the carabiner style clips and other plastics are aggressively strong, as is the webbing and main straps. There's even a chafing panel on the bottom of the pack so it'll hold up to repeatedly being placed on the ground. Again, it's one hell of a pack for the price, and I'm glad I shopped around first and made this purchase.

Perfect size with a lot of options for organizing gear!
I keep a fishing bag and a few rods in the back of my SUV for most of the year. I usually keep the bag packed with a little bit of everything since I usually do my fishing with little to no notice or planning. Wife is working late, fish. Got out of the office early, fish. This bag was obviously designed by someone who has actually tried to carry a lot of fishing gear. It has pockets, D-rings, and straps to hold all kinds of gear and most of it would be stored within easy reach. Nothing worse than having a personal best on the line and having to do a one-handed dig for a tool. None of that with this bag. All of the stitching seems well done and sturdy. The top handle is particularly well done. I have a similar bag that I’ve used since last spring and that was one of the big things that needed improvement. This bag’s handle is attached better and easier to grab.If I could change one thing, it would be the water bottle holder. I wish it was larger. I tend to hike into a lot of my fishing spots and carry a large camelbak bottle with me. It doesn’t fit. I found a good place to clip it on, though. The bottle holder may make a good spot for powerbait jars when I go out for trout. I’ll try to update this once my winter ritual or cleaning and re-organizing my bag is done and everything is packed into this bag for the season. I’m looking forward to fitting this out as my main bag this year.

Practical and durable.
I'm a paramedic and use this bag to carry my personal gear and small needs such as shears, stethoscope, phone chargers, etc. to work. Have been using this daily for 5 years now and it is still in great shape, has been the longest used bag I've had for this purpose. I know this is advertised as a bag for fishing gear, which I'm sure it's great for as well, but this is just a great all round bag for whatever your might need. Great price and holds enough stuff, without being so large it just accumulates unwanted and forgotten junk.

Up to you if this is a good or bad thing
I purchased this pack in the Army Green color. The pack that arrived is slightly different than shown, in that the one I received is fully green, without the brown material shown in the product images. Up to you if this is a good or bad thing; I think it looks good in solid green. As others have commented, this is a very small pack. Even knowing it would be small, I was still a bit surprised upon seeing it in person. At first I thought it was not going to work for my purpose, but I was proven wrong as more and more items continued disappearing into the various pockets. There are also a great variety of external attachment points. It might be nice if there were more MOLLE webbing on the outside - the only section that has this webbing is on the outside of the larger external compartment. I was able to attach a flashlight and multitool to this area, although the spacing of the webbing on the pack was a little narrower than the width of the webbing on my sheaths, so it was difficult attaching them in the first place, but they were very secure once attached. All in all, just on the outside of the pack I was able to attach a Thermacell mosquito repeller, fixed blade knife, folding pocket knife, folding camp saw, wrist rocket, multitool, flashlight, and I could have easily added more to the multitude of D-rings, straps, holsters, & other attachment points. The extra included straps further expand the options for how to wear the pack, or how to attach other items to the outside. Overall, this is an extremely versatile pack. The quality of the materials used seems good for the price point. I have not had any problems yet with the zippers. The top grab handle is very robust compared to another bag I own from a similar price point. I'm not worried about using the top handle for hoisting this pack and moving it around, even if it's heavily loaded. I do think the shoulder sling strap is a bit difficult to adjust, could be more padded, and unbuckling the main strap is a bit too awkward for frequent use due to the elastic directly on top of the buckle. But there are many ways this pack can be worn or carried, so I wouldn't knock it too much because of the buckle. The pack may be small, but it suited the purpose I needed it for very well. I am now happy to have this compact pack in my arsenal of backpacks and sling bags, and I'm sure it will come in handy again in the very near future.

Perfect for any situation
I bought it when it was on sale and it is by over the expectation! I thought it is just cross body back, but there is a zipper that makes it to the backpack. I was planning to take it for fishing, but also decided to take it to my international travel! Love the bag!
