Rinconada medallions were made in the style of the "classic" collection and were given out at the collectibles shows and special in-store events. The first medallions were given out at the Rosemont ICE show starting in 1999. Starting in 2001, special medallions were made for in-store Rinconada events. These items have become quite popular with many of them being personally signed by Jorge DeRosa during the show or event. These medallions (as are all of the Artesania Rinconada collection) was hand carved and painted in Uruguay and were produced in low numbers.
