Inappropriate usage, perfect result!
I ended up using these to outline some artworks which used POSCA markers, and let me tell you, it makes these artworks POP! Due to the heavy usage, unfortunately, they very quickly run out of ink and slowly become more and more splotchy and inconsistent, so you will have to order more after a month or two of heavy usage. Also, due to the nature of the calligraphy pens, please use them after using any markers, paint, etc... -or else it can risk damaging the paper.

Ink runs smoothly
Individually wrapped and comfortable to use. Great coverage, too.

Super awesome deal if you get them here at the price I paid (less than 10 bucks I think?)
You're not going to find all these pens bundled like this at this price anywhere. Great artist pickup. Great pens for practicing modern calligraphy in smaller letters as opposed to a bigger tombow or something similar. Also just all around good to just sketch with or for improving your handwriting. These zebra fudé sign pens, the LePen flex, pentel touch sign pens, (and for blackletter or italic) pilot parallel pens- are some solid go-to's for fancy roundhand lettering if you have a bunch of letterheads for a wedding or something similar to mail out and don't want to bust out a nib and inkwell. Excellent for beginners who want to start practicing copperplate calligraphy without the mess and also for creating your own typography scripts. Sold seperate in an art store, you'd pay at least $20 altogether.

Perfect practice tool
First thing to get out of the way is that you can't use this pen exactly like a real brush. The tip is much firmer, more like an elongated maker tip. However, all of your calligraphy skills will transfer over from the brush to these pens. I personally found it much easier to get my desired shape by holding the pen as a pen, and not a brush. Bottom line is these pens write amazing, and definitely looks like a proper brush and ink did the job. I'd recommend these to the sort of person who doesn't have the time to prepare space to write traditional calligraphy, and wants/needs to practice strokes and characters on the fly. Since pens are easy to bring around, they are perfect for just about anyone.

love this set
I bought these for my daughter who is an artist and she loves this set. At first they were kind of inky and blotchy, especially with the blue extra fine pen, but the more you use them, the more even the flow of ink becomes, it seems. The pen with the most variation (ie shifting the strength or thickness of the line as you draw) is the largest tipped gray one. She finds that the ink in the Japanese pens are more black as compared to the Sharpie black which seems a sort of watery ink. The blue one is her favorite and she would buy a pack with just the blue ones, but a second favorite is the gray pen, both for the color of the ink and the variability of the line flow.

Love these pens
These are one of my favorite brush pens. I originally bought some at daiso, sand when they no longer carried them was so happy to find them on Amazon. Great quality for the price, and I love that it includes a gray brush pen in the set. Would definitely order again!

Great pens, hold their shape
Amazing pens. I love that they have all the brush types; it helps give a lot of line variety in a drawing. The nibs hold their point through use and applied pressure. I've been drawing with mine a month though, and the fine harder nib ink is already dying. But I would say drawing with it everyday for a month is a good life for a pen. I'm disappointed that they would smear sometimes with marker or washes even after I let them dry. That was annoying and ruined a few projects. But it could also be the paper I was using too (illo sketchbook and colored over with copic marker).

Lovely pens
These came fast and were super cheap, which shocked me. Usually it's one or the other, but it was both? Weird!I love my pens. You can get a good variety of lines, and they're easy to control. I bought them for art use, but I've dabbled in calligraphy with them since I might as well, and I really like them. Beginner-friendly. They aren't the inkiest, though, so sometimes thicker lines don't have the greatest coverage. Not really a problem unless you're using them for art, though.

Good liners for the price
These work very well, I love the richness of the black ink. I’ve been using them on all my traditional art and I’m happy with the results. The ink does run out a bit fast but I do a lot of black and white high contrast things so I might just be depleting the ink faster than normal

Solid set of fude pens.
I like these pens, but the larger sizes fray too easily for my use (it should be noted that I don’t use the right kind of paper for calligraphy, so it isn’t really the pen’s fault). The extra fine tip pen, however - which is comparable to Tombow hard tip - is by far the best fine tip fude pen I’ve been able to find to keep from fraying. Overall happy with purchase.
