Ordered it for a school project. Great look and quality for the price

I do like the look and feel of this journal. I like the paper thickness , which is why I bought it. I didn’t want the ink to bleed through and it doesn’t which is great, although I find that it is difficult to write on with a fountain pen. I did not smell anything. I believe the leather quality is good and will last. I believe it would make a thoughtful gift. Yes I would buy again.

I love this. It is compact yet big enough to actually write in. It opens nicely so the pages are accessible. The cover is very sturdy, the cord wraps around nice and snug and I love the key has a pocket to tuck it into. The pages are very nice (vintage in look and feel). So happy with this product. I am suing it to journal an upcoming road trip and I can't wait to start writing in it!

I was amazed by the quality of the pages and the cover of this book. I loved the key detail to “lock” the book. The rope or whatever is used to wrap around the journal is definitely pricky though. I ran my hand over it to get to the key and I got a piece of the material in my hand. Great for the price!

I found this journal to be well made with care and attention to replicating the journals of the Renaissance period. This journal can help take you away to a place of peace, where you can write your dreams (to help make them come true), write your troubles (to help you let them go), or sketch what brings you joy! I recommend this for anyone that has an appreciation of different times.

Gift for my daughter who collects journals, she loves it! Paper is amazing and the key is a fun latch!
